The vidor qb looked good and has a nice arm. They need to get that kid in a spread formation to open things up. Number 3 was quick also i just cant see kids staying there to play in the slot t and not being successful with a talented team.

Silsbee had to have around 15 penalties last night. Some were questionable but were called. It is week 1 and alot of games left

Only real concern for Silsbee is the young and inexperienced secondary. Hopefully they'll get better with each game.

We'll see when they play Hitchcock and HF.

Glad to see my grandson Corde' Wilson get some playing time as a sophomore RB on varsity....He ran the ball i think 3 or 4 times in the 4th quarter....keep pushing ....your time is coming

Rushing    16 carries, 156 yds, 4 TD's

Total           31 plays, 267 yds, 5 TD's

 

Silsbee RB Hafford had 132 yards on 17 carries., TD

As a team, Silsbee rushed for 306 yards. Total yards were 417.
