I think we can all agree that the Baytown schools are not good.  Let’s get that out of the way.  However.  Sterling did beat PNG already.  However, PNG did lose to BH on a bad call.  BH did beat PA by double digits already and lost by 2 to a #2 6a Allen.  They also lost to a BU team that starts 3 freshman.  The same BU team that got demolished by PA.  The same PA team that lost to HF this season as well as unranked Permian team, a school known for football, not basketball.  The same PA team that won by a total of 3 pts to the Mid County schools.  And you have BU like I’ve mentioned are young and got the brakes beat off of them by PA.  May I add took consecutive woodshed beatings to Lancaster and Kimball, a loss to WB (even though it wasn’t a district game), but managed to beat BH.  Then you have WB who looks like a very good team who haven’t loss, but they struggled and BARELY skated by Sterling.

Help me make sense of this district as of right now.  Because I’m lost..

Barbers Hill has been playing without their best offensive player the last two games against United and PN-G. He makes a world of difference for them offensively. He's not bad on the defensive end as well being a '6"6 wing.

IMO, this is why United got the win and the PN-G game was close.

I think this is a very competitive district but West Brook is the best team. I still think a healthy Barbers Hill team is the next best, followed by Memorial. I am curious to see how United does against Nederland. I'll probably attend that game.

I'll be at PAM/West Brook tomorrow night.

What about the WB/Sterling deal? Also Memorial having the most experienced team but yet they’re as up and down as I e seen ANY team…

And I think both BU’s games vs. the Mid County schools will be interesting…

Also, just FYI, before the BU/Memorial game, BU lost a returning starter who was the most athletic and the best defender on the team.

Sterling is not a bad team and it was at Baytown (Bay Area Chapter officials, nuff said).

Memorial needs a shooter. They are by far the best defensive team in the district but have a hard time scoring. Their defense will keep them in every game but their lack of offense will lose some games.

I see the game tomorrow night being close but I predict West Brook to pull it out due to their guard play on the offensive end.

Agree on all. Except Sterling.  They’re not good at all and is only better than Lee, IMO.

If I have to go up to the 9th grade center I will, I've told you before Permian is normally good in basketball. Don't let that Friday night lights stuff fool you. I lived out West, I think I would know. Also the BH game was by 9, not double digits.

Your just feelings done kind of way because I brought up PA losing by 20 to Permian.  And you know Permian is not gonna win their district.

While you’re all emotional, I’m actually rooting for PA and am upset they aren’t playing to the potential I know they can.  Settle down and order you some Popeyes red beans and rice.  😁
