Not defending POTUS, but you do realize the Secret Service may have refused to allow him to fly on the one plane, and only allowed him to follow their new security arrangement. The Secret Service can refuse to follow POTUS wishes if they deem the security situation warrants.

He'll never admit it. But, he may not have had a choice.

No doubt that was probably the case but  the optics of the situation really made him look  bad.

Not really sure why it’s such a big deal. No one should want any POTUS assassinated. But, for some reason, it’s become okay for some to believe targeting this particular POTUS is allowed.
