I just don't consider SS, Medicare, retirement/401 K taxes.  Those are a benefit you will be receiving back.  

 

What would you consider to be fair taxes paid? The next question would be what services would you recommend cutting that was paid by the taxes you want to remove?

The insurance I was referring too was health insurance. The numbers posted are not far off. I believe the whole point of the post was there was not much left to live on after being taxed into an oblivion. 
 

You are going to tell me that a country that spends 2 trillion more a year than it takes in is a good thing because it’s providing services?! 😂🤣😂

And that’s just at the federal level.
