Alan Dershowitz on latest Trump indictment

If anyone doesn’t know, Dershowitz is a fairly hardcore Democrat. A Harvard law professor, he supported Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama. He is in most accounts, a well respected attorney.

 This is his take on the indictment after reading it.

 The prosecutor lied on the indictment by omission and could be indicted… but won’t be. Part of the indictment was a statement by Trump which clearly puts his comment in the protection of the First Amendment and free speech. So the prosecutor who signed the affidavit under oath, altered Trump’s statement to make it look different. The prosecutor in the indictment left out where Trump said for the people to protest “peacefully and patriotically” but the prosecutor altered the statement by omitting those key words.

The video is about 30 minutes long but watch as least the first 3.5-4 minutes.

What the left sack of Nutz on this forum need to realize is The First Amendment doesn't just include a right to freedom of speech. It also includes a right to petition the government for redress of grievances. Now, Jack Smith wants to criminalize the act of contesting an election through the courts and by lobbying legislators. Every step of this indictment is a war on the Constitution.

Proof that you can indict a ham sandwich. This is nothing more than political Lawfare to create election interference and politically bludgeon Trump during his presidential campaign. This sets a very dangerous precedent going forward if it is allowed to stand. This 💩 has been going on since 2015 an is just ridiculous but the crazy thing about it is the left Nutz on this site are too blind and ignorant to see it. When all is said in done Trump will end up suing everyone of the POS involved in this witch hunt an I don’t blame him.

      Maybe.. however..  Many athletic director / head football coach have lost their job despite the athletic program as a whole being successful.. if the football team struggles.  On the other hand, when football teams are doing great but the rest of the program stinks.. AD/HFC still keeps their job. WOS.  Newton. .. programs as a whole were fairly weak during those many years of football power and very few people even knew it.  Or cared. Yet, AD/HFC kept their jobs for years. Meanwhile, I remember an AD/HFC at Barbers Hill lost his job after every program in the school won district championships and even had several team sports (baseball, softball, girls hoops, etc.) making runs at state.  But the football team was mediocre.  Fired. I'm not saying you're wrong, just that perception is reality.  And the perception is that your athletic program can suck as long as football wins.. it doesn't matter how strong the athletic program is if football sucks.

      It's only a matter of time before the baseball mafia starts greasing the tracks to run Crumedy out of town. It'll be a dang shame too, but mark my words.

      Conditioning should be done by the coach that they are IN SEASON with. This is a simple concept that's missed by so many. Way too many kids are overworked these days. I don't really care what was done 20, 30 or 40 years ago. We know more now and should do better. And maybe kids were more durable in the past, but they also had a great foundation of manual labor, etc. And lifting... done right, should be done all year round. Dayton's S&C coordinator is top notch when it comes to putting this together.
