To Lumberton fans and team

Pirate-

We have just NEVER been able to talk before!!!!!!!!  Sure at our pep rallys our football team talked but they got killed on the field when I was there.  Now, we are actually winning, and I am shocked to see how good they sound on here and on the live stream tonight.  I am just cheering for them 1000 miles away.  I am coming down for a game if they make it to the playoffs so hopefully I will be coming home soon!!!!

Wheres maverick????come and get it hot and fresh ;D

Just as I said I would if yall beat us I did.

I said that the better team won and unlike a few have said I think the Refs were great I said the kids acted with great Sportsmanship and most of the fans have as well. You could tell that at Halftime the png fans knew we were a good team and not the same old RAIDERS yall were better tonight I have already said that on all the other post and yall should enjoy being at the top. I can still see this district with three teams at 6-1 or a few at 5-2 So No one is in the playoffs yet I wish yall good luck the rest of the way

THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!!!! THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!!!!

not gonna lie, i was pulling for the indians.  despite that, i must say that lumberton did well, and in my eyes, this is just as impressive a result for the raiders as any other game they've played this season... you played a very strong team close down to the very end... lumberton, you've certainly proven that you are a very good team, and png, you're looking at the makings of something very special.

good luck to you... i have a feeling that all three teams that end up in the playoffs from the district will represent SETX very well.

Hey the Raiders are for real first off. We should've could've, but didn't beat them by maybe 2 TD's, but the Raiders didn't give up. I think it's #6 for Lumberton met Hemmings at the goalline and I was right there. The collision was crazy with Hemmings steam rolling the kid.  I hope he is alright because he was dazed and confused. I'm not taking a shot at the kid, he hung in there tough, but nobody from Lumberton beleived us when we said he is a load and will run smooth over you. Once again, Lumberton has a good team this year and I still think they make the playoffs for sure. Good game Raiders

We should've could've had 2 more TD's ourselves but we didn't make them and that's the way it goes ( I'm not making excuses). Not all Lumberton fans didn't believe you about Hemmings. He is the only one I was really concerned about before the game. He is a big, strong player. Thanks to all the PNG fans for the good posts about our team. Great game tonight!

Hemmings played well but the game ball should go to Tatum and his line.  13/15 189 is oustanding and both offensive and defensive lines played on our side of the ball all night.  Congrats!

The crow tastes like cheekin!

I agree The pass attack was what I thought killed us in the long run. Everytime they needed that big play they went to the air. Hemmings was good but the line played great for png and kept the Raider D line off him, then some recievers made great grabs. My game ball would go to the O Line and D Line with a added ball to the QB and WR's. Good job young men.

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
