How was a 5-7 team that's had 3 losing seasons even ranked in the top 25. Should be a * for this win for Maryland but I guess if you haven't beat a ranked team in 17 outs r since 2010 u take it * r not!!

I was just making a generalization. A valid one at that. As far as Texas goes, San Jose State won't be a pushover. The horns could  very well be 0-2 going into the USC game. And that won't be good.

Texas is just a young team again.  Herman just needs time to cull off Charlie's players.  

Sad part is I agree totally - and I would not write them off this year either - but I got just a little tired of the "This ain't last year" quotes - and the top 25 ranking kinda made me smile as well as they were still very unproven.

Do have to laugh at the Horn Country panic that appears to have already set in within some Texas households.  Come on guys give Herman a chance - this was just his first game and you really do not know what you have on the field till they are tested by fire.

Meh, unlike some, I probably watch a few aggy games and doubtful I will tomorrow with so much to do.  I still like Herman.  It's one game.  And he has a top 5 recruiting class shaping up coming off a 5-7 season. We will always get the best players in the state (except for a few blips on the radar when you guys pee all over yourselves).  We just have to find the right guy again to put it together.  I have high hopes it's Herman and he should have time to do it.  I think it will happen faster than some think.  

Good luck tomorrow Ags.  I am rooting for Sumlin.  I still think he's the answer and should get a raise and an extension if the Ags are victorious.

Reasons why

1) Cannot correct 5 years of bad coaching in 9 months

2) Herman and Longhorns everywhere knew that game would be hard. 

3) First game in New offensive and defensive schemes. 

4) over 100 yards in penalties. Can't fix stupid!

5) Those who bash locker rooms, weight rooms, are just afraid of how much more money they will need to spend.

6) It took longer than a year to develop "cold fusion"

7) What happens in Austin changes the world, get ready CFB

8) "This ain't last year" is true for every team in CFB

9) Fanaticism is not based on wins
