If Fields is granted eligibility this cat should too. Sorry for the quote Phat, this site does weird things on a mobile

Fields is not the comparable case, he has a "legitimate" circumstance. Martell is the one to watch.

I feel like McCoy will challenge the validity of the early singing period when a coach leaves.

Either way, the transfer rules are about to be challenged.

Bru’s situation is interesting but not new or unique.  But if you commit to a school based upon a coach and haven’t even played a down, then the coach abruptly leaves, it’s always seemed fair to me to allow a kid to transfer without penalty.  The Martell’s who don’t want to compete for a job are one thing.  A kid who makes a life choice based upon the opportunity to learn from a particular coach who leaves before he even gets started is quite another.

Kliff is a position coach that was only on the job a few weeks.  Now if anyone on staff leaves the backups are going to try to use that to transfer.  The NCAA has some interesting decisions to make.  College Football is about to be open to free agency in which the rich will get richer.

First, an OC isn’t a position coach.  In fact, it would have been his charge to run the entire offense at USC.   However, if he was a position coach, that doesn’t belittle the recruit’s justifiable frustration.   Many times a position coach is a deciding factor in these recruiting battles.

It doesn’t matter if he was there a week or 10 years.   If a young man chooses a school with the idea of being developed by a particular coach, and that coach is gone before he even arrives on campus...you get the picture.   And the rich are going to get richer eventually anyway. It’s coming, not if, but when.   Knowing the NCAA, it will happen sooner than later.  Hang on to that jock for dear life aggy.

The decision that will decide the future of the NCAA transfer rules is Tate Martell. If he is granted immediate eligibility, the party is over.

McCoy may be the first six star that Herman has signed.

    • No chance in hell that this pos is found guilty.
    • After his silly conviction, President Trump has raised over 200 Million dollars!  The people are seeing through it!  Excellent!
    • Let’s see if joe biden’s words about no one is above the law, made after the rigged trial of President Trump, rings true with his po💩son.  Hopefully, but I’m not going to hold my breath, they put the sorry sob in prison.
    • I liked his no bull crap attitude. He was a man of very few words. Extremely strong and freaky athletic!!! As close as possible to being the best offensive lineman to ever play the game. I hope his family finds peace without him!!! RIP #73
    • Chester, a small town in NE Tyler County.  A town that is seeing growth with the addition of a national chain store and a new school being built.  If you travel 287 toward Dallas from the Golden Triangle you have probably passed through Chester.  Things tend to stay pretty consistent and it is your typical small town.   A trip to state is the buzz around town, and the talk before church services begin on Sunday.  This year’s graduating class will number 11.  We don’t have a radio station that covers the Yellowjackets.  We are never a lead story on any of the news stations that broadcast to our community. With all that said, there is a closeness and sense of pride in our community.  Every community rallies behind their kids as they progress into the playoffs.  We are proud of our boys as they have represented our community well and with class. We invite you to follow our boys as they go to state.  We welcome the greater SETX communities as honorary Yellowjackets.  Tune in, watch live or come to Round Rock personally and join us in supporting the Chester Yellowjackets.  Go ‘Jackets!!! ⚾️💜💛⚾️🟣🟡⚾️💜💛⚾️
