So if it doesn't mean anything, why take part in it at all? And why host a tournament? Why spend the money? If you participate, why wouldn't you want to excel, be the best, compete at your top level, etc...

If you're the best of the best, the next state champions, 7 on 7 should be easy peasy. JS

Kountze beat Mcregor but Idk the score. Kountze (3-0) and Mcgregor (2-1) will advance to the knockout round. HF also won two in a row after a loss to Gatesville . Based on the standings HF finishes second in their pool and will advance as well!

No butthurtness here, sad though when 7-7 is the highlight of your season just like last year!  Good luck though when the pads start popping and the big uglies are in the trenches.

We know success in 7 on 7 doesn't equal success in the regular season, but it does mean something to the kids. Out there baking in 100 degree weather, it means something. Proud of those PNG Indians working hard.

​7 on 7 doesn't include running the ball and playing defense. Two things PNG is very poor at. It gives you huge windows to throw through and doesn't include a pass rush either. I agree that the repetitions in 7's help with timing and continuity but that's all they do. Look at the top 10 5A programs in the region and tell me who's there?
