Indianforever Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 How many of the schools in the 5A rankings would actually go D2? Quote
WildcatBacker Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 Newton gets some votes at 3-3 but East Chambers gets none at 6-0?? I don't know why I'm surprised at these things anymore. They are almost always based on the past. Quote
NDOMAKONG Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 What exactly were we waiting for IF'er? Quote

WildcatBacker Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 its cause they beat WOS I agree..........which proves my point cause WO-S isn't doing so hot this year either. They're 5-2. So why is beating them such a big deal? It's cause of the past. Smdh.. Quote

HJ2012 Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 In every ranking system I've seen they have HJ and WO-S right next to each other, even when they don't divide it between D-I and D-II! Quote
HurricaneCal Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 I would say Indian fans need to worry about how much water gets put on the field this week and should be concerned with trying to end that streak over on that side. Neumann showed last week he is a magician, he wins this week and he might as well be the mayor of Port Neches or Groves or both. It's a meaningless ranking that puts a target on your back! Quote
dBerrySports Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 Which proves they shouldn't have been.. So based on your logic, George Ranch shouldn't be top 10 in 5A because they only beat WO-S by 3? WO-S had one loss at the time, to that George Ranch team that's pretty good. So why shouldn't WO-S have been ranked in the top 10 at that time? There will never be a time that everybody is pleased... Quote

dBerrySports Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 wos lost to foster pam played George ranch You are correct. Been confusing them all year. Thank you. Only takes away from a little of my point though. Not sure of how WO-S didn't deserve to be a top 10 team at the time they played Newton. This is pretty far off of this thread's topic but hey. Quote
cougar14 Posted October 15, 2014 Report Posted October 15, 2014 Yeah waiting for cougar14 to explain why Crosby should be ranked higher than PNGIDK, I guess it's because you're so far behind in all the rest of the polls that the AP just felt bad for you? I wonder why you don't get on the other rankings threads and ask why Crosby is ranked so far ahead of PNG? Must've counted that loss to a 5-2 4A d2 team? Quote
biaplayer Posted October 15, 2014 Report Posted October 15, 2014 I dont put no stock in the rankings, could care less where they have us or Crosby. The only thing on my mind is pounding the fleas off of the dogs this week. ONE week at a time one game at a time. Thats all that matters right now.Cougar14, have a question how is Crosbys offenive #s so far this year compared to the same time last year. Yalls #s last year were absolutely sick? Quote
prepballfan Posted October 15, 2014 Report Posted October 15, 2014 I think PN-G is better than Crosby this season. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
