Tony Brown Is The Real Deal!!

It was Tony that was in the situation in Alabama, was there and like so many of us made a bad decision... I have no idea what the outcome was... I was very disappointed to hear of the incident.. but that was the only bad thing i have ever heard of him doing... so i guess in your perfect world of never making a bad decision you would want every bad decision you ever made brought up every time someone said something good about you.... I guess its a wash... you made your point I shouldn't of said the good things i said about him due to the one incident that happened .... and for your reading pleasure here are a few articles to read up on regarding the incident...

"Jaison Davis, of Atlanta, and 19-year-old Richard Sharper told AL.com (http://bit.ly/1hJWPVk ) that Brown, of Beaumont, Texas, was walking away from police toward his car when he was pepper-sprayed in the face."

He's not my man crush, sir. Obviously you have no clue who I am. The negative you're referring to happened in February. The positive I'm talking about happened Saturday. Which is more relevant? I won't waste my time or energy on negative people. I've already given you too much attention.

Nor do I care who you are.

Let me give you a life lesson, my simple friend.

"is that the same kid that got arrested this year?"

You could have said "yes, but he's really turned things around for himself.  Isn't it great?"  To which many, many people would have said "way to go, TB!"

Instead, you chose to attack the person who merely asked a question with "why focus on the negative?  What's more relevant?"  Which only makes you look petty.

Roll Tide.

You care enough about me to go out of your way to post on this thread. But instead of attacking you and your character, I'll pray for you, because I'm just that simple.

It's a little late for that pledge, Brother VNUPE.  Because saying things like "I'm sure by now you both should know who Tony Brown is, which now makes it a stupid question." and "It's just sad to see that some people can't handle anything positive" are in no way construed as insulting or attacking.  Now you just seem hypocritical.

Tell you what, why don't we both act like adults and move on. This thread is not about you, nor is it about me. It was supposed to be positive and this is taking the attention off the title.

On a regular occurrence, FOX routinely posts with the sole intent of being a troll and/or just flat out being a smart arse. He's done this on many threads, so I can see how this debate started. . And had I not been busy most of the day, I would've given those guys a piece of my mind.

Congrats to Tony on his recent success.

Gotta admit,I thought he was a camp kid also....While I was always in his corner,
I just never saw IT. After the game he played saturday.....I STAND CORRECTED!!!!!!!! Great job Tony!!!!!

Heck, maybe in large part he was. He did get a semester of spring ball under his belt playing for one of the greatest coaches in the history of CFB and arguably the best DC in the game. Great coaches make great kids/athletes better. Either way, he's undoubtedly gotten better since arriving in Tuscaloosa. Good job Tony!

I wonder if Tony is going to be starting at CB for the foreseeable future…… .

I think so... Tony looked good in the spring game with his arm in a sling. Bama's secondary is thin now and Tony can really make a splash. He had a good game against Florida and I'm anxious to see him play against Ole Miss next week.

The search button at the top right of this site could have been used by two of you guys (Fox & Cardinal Backer) to obtain the negative info on the kid that was in the Winter time, a whole thread was started about it.

This is the reason i posted all the links... is because the question he ask could of been simply answered by doing a google of Tony Brown Alabama Arrest... whichi is what pulled up all them links.... anyone with a  6th grade education could of figured that out... but since he was more worried about slinging mud instead of looking at the success of a YOUNG MAN that went through a bad spot... and if you read the articles most of the eye witnesses say Tony Brown didn't aggressivaly approach the officers like they said in their report... that he was Pepper Sprayed while walking AWAY from the officers and towards his car... that an officer followed him and heckled him the entire way... and after being peper sprayed he hit the ground went into the fetal position and the officer then drew his weapon...

but some people just are haters.... thats all they will ever be... smh will never understand people that insecure that they have to run down a YOUNG MAN for 1 bad spot in his life.... but as the old sayings goes...

"people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones."

"All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!"

And some people will blindly defend when no defense is needed or even justified.

How is it running the young man down for 1 bad spot in his life when all that was asked is if it was the same kid?  Jeez, I'll bet you're one of those clowns that thinks Trayvon got smoked over a bag of skittles, Michael Brown was on his knees, back turned, arms upraised when he got shot for no good reason, and Ray Rice's old lady had it coming.  I mean, why get down on somebody over one teeny tiny little thing?

    • Will probably be released by the Democrats come September.  Sound familiar?
    • Sure.  You reassign an employee and they leave voluntarily instead of being fired and being open to litigation.  The outcome is the same, but you are making my point.  The superintendent and AD and principal are all empowered to make personnel decisions.  Instead of accepting the decision made, you talk about lawyering up, no one else was reprimanded, railroad job.  I am old enough to remember when high school sports taught life lessons...accountability being chief among them.
    • I know absolutely nothing about the situation, but I do know head coaches of sports other than the AD have actual teaching assignments, and I know from my wife having worked in the sped department of multiple schools that it’s not uncommon at all for coaches to shirk those duties.  It could very well be that this was the case at BC.  Or not, I don’t know.  Just bringing this up to point out the fact that, although many coaches only want to worry about coaching, they generally have several other responsibilities at the school.  some of them neglect or ignore these duties entirely.  If he’s been written up for other issues before, it’s a dumb argument to say “he was punished for this and others were not”.  If he had a pile of write ups in his file and they did not then it makes sense that the punishments were different.
    • He wasn’t fired, he was reassigned and people get reassigned all the time. If he was actually fired, then you would have a point, but he wasn’t fired. Based on the information presented here no way this would stand if they fired him and he lawyered up.
    • I heard the assistant was going to get this job and assume it was referring to the old Vidor coach, Nate Smith.  I always thought he did more with less at Vidor and can't help but think he shares some responsibility in Vidor's recent success.
