Dayton has had good success vs King from 98 to current.Close game last year.Yes they've put up huge numbers but against who=Tomball/Magnolia.When have they been in the playoffs?Question mark is=Can they stop Dayt(DC Jones formerly@ King went to Groveton w/Crause,so don't know most of Dayt schemes=advantage Dayt)?Gave up 448 yds to Tomball.Dayt on the verge of a offensive explosion.When do they get that swagger=I'm thinking either this week or next.I'll take Dayt in a high scoring game.Dayt 50 King 34 in Dayt.This is a big game pits 2 of my 4 dist 21-5a playoff teams.Go Broncos & wrap up

They put up huge numbers on Dayton with a bunch of sophomores and 4 lost fumbles if you don't remember, Williams raked you for 264 last year. Dayton's defense is actually looking worse this year so instead of the 527 yards they got, I predict they put up over 600 and Williams goes for close to 300. This time a last minute fg won't be enough for the Broncos. Dayton throws three more picks and gives up 400 on the ground,  49-35 King.

You better worry about September 12th, 19th, 26th and October 10th first. King, BH, Humble and KP which are all teams Dayton struggled with or lost to. With the amount of yardage y'all are giving up now there's nothing that's a given. 4 district losses won't get you in this year.

Worry I think not,should I list all the Stewart/Hancock win/loss records vs all of the above :lol: I'll give you a Clue, Dayt 9-3 vs Crosby.Points scored in those 12 yr match-ups=Dayt 413  Crosby 203 :D Where's the worry here :D falls out of the chair.My regret is we're not in able to take Crosby out in the 1st rd like we did every year we were not in the same dist

Dayton's swagger is coming together. They have pulled up yet another RB/DB #9 Styner. who is only a sophomore. Reminds me of Mcbride.  Ask Buddy G' he saw him play against Nederland. I am sure he has an unbiased opinion...  Dayton wins by at least 3 TD's IF they keep their swagger together. If not Dayton in a close one MAYBE!

Dayton I love ya like a brother ,but you got to stop bringing up history as it is not relevant in any shape or form to what is going to happen this year. It is so ridiculous when someone throws facts in your face about a team and how you performed against them last year, then you rebut with how you beat someone 10 years ago :lol: I think Dayton can win this game as well because the teams King has faced this year are horrible, but I don't think it will be a blow out ....should be a good game ... Dayton 49  King 42.

I haven't watched CEK in person this year, but I do remember last year. They will probably be a real contender for district this year from what I've read and heard. I think this will be a tough game for us, but I give the edge to my Broncos at home this week in a high scoring game. It all comes down to what team plays the better defense.

Buddy Garrity let me know when you make another Broncos game I would like to meet you myself along with most of the other posters on here.

If dayton can clean up the penalties then it should be a win for dayton, Between mc.bride, baughman, and #9, we should have a good running game and  we know our passing game will be ok. just need a little work and dayton will be a force.

I said last year that King would be a threat to win district this year and I still stand by that . This is going to be a good test for the Bronco's going against a team who has more talent than Crosby(Seahawks) and just as well coached.

i totally agree. This is one team that offensively will be like a channelview. A qb that is very athletic and can beat you running or throwing. They also have several stud rb's. I actually think their defense will be better than channelview and be better coached. In the channelview post when I said channelview would be one of the 2 or 3 best teams dayton plays this is one if them. This game is a huge test for the Bronx.

It wont be a blow out either way. but like i said in the upset of the week feed C.E. king will be our toughest opponent in district play this year.

CEK will be competitive this year... I'm anxious to see just how good they are against a better quality team, but Dayton will do :P  Just playing. This game is a big one for the district standings and so is ours against Crosby..No one can afford to stumble here.
