3rd stringer Posted March 28, 2014 Report Posted March 28, 2014 Warren is a big step up from Deweyville, at least he has twice as many kids in HS to choose from. Deweyville had their best team ever last year and still lost both games they played against good teams in their classification. Quote
Toss right Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 I might be behind but what offense he run? Quote
WTB Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 Unbalanced I is the best way to describe it but its a hybrid between prostyle, Wing T and Slot T. Quote
Toss right Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 I like it. A lot of pulling I bet. Didn't he use a lot of mid line in Dv? Quote
WTB Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 yeah lots of pulling and yes the midline was part of the DV offense. It all depends on what his players are capable of. I think he will do a great job. Quote
warparty Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 We are excited. Sounds like an offense we are capable of running. SteelerCzy 1 Quote
Toss right Posted March 29, 2014 Report Posted March 29, 2014 I think what warren did this past year was fine to. Just like it when a coach adjust his playbook for personnel not what worked at last school or even what's popular. My school ran spread two years ago and kids liked it but with lack of talent it was a train wreak. Quote
whsalum Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 Don't judge a Warren coach strictly by his record. When you line up week in and week out against Newton, EC, Kirbyville the big number on the left is hard to run up. As long as he can keep the streak alive against Woodville he will be welcomed with open arm :) camsdad 1 Quote

That has changed a lot now, but I still feel like it's the most important game of the year for both teams (excluding playoff-determining games and playoff games). Quote
kicker Posted March 31, 2014 Report Posted March 31, 2014 4410, you pretty much hit the nail on the head about DV. It's like the school board can't handle success from a sports program. Looks like empty stands after halftime just like before Coach Babin arrived.. I sure hope your wrong. My stepson will be in highschool in a couple years and there is alot of talent in his age group. I would have put them up against any team in the 6th-7th grade pee wee. Even WOS as much as i hate to say it. Lol. I pray that there is a good coach that wants to establish a winning attitude when they make it to HS. There is quite a bit of talent coming Dville's way in the near future. Would be a shame to waste it. Quote
