PNG loses in a heartbreaker on a crazy play with two outs in bottom of 7th
2-1 to Dripping Springs.
Then pulls a come back down three in top of 6th to take Brenham into ITB 7-7, where PNG pulls it out 8-7. Game ended when Ashton Yanta threw out girl trying to tag from third on fly ball to left (great throw kid!).

LCM down 9-4 in bottom of 7th to Azle when a few runs get plated then Angel Villanueva hits a 3 run opposite field HR to tie at 9. LCM wins it 11-10 in ITB.
Both games going on simultaneously next to each other made for great excitement.

See You Lady Bears next Friday night. We all need the week off!!!

Good weekend with both area teams going 3-2 and big game with LCM at PNG this Friday.  Play-off type atmosphere in College Station and saw some top tier pitching.  Some players new to varsity or full time roles got valuable experience this weekend.  The LCM Azle game actually went to tie break 4-4 after 6 in a game that featured 4 lead changes.  Second big come back win in 8 days for the Lady Bears.  Congrats Kayla Manuel on the walk off single that hit off the fence to win.

 

badndn is right, both teams need rest and to get healthy.  LCM played its 17th game in 17 days.  Glad district is upon us.
