Biggest surprise in the new UIL re-alignments

Sending GCM and Lee to the Beaumont districts... Was a little surprised about that...

Districts 3 and 20 in 4A only having 4 teams for basketball!!!  0 - 30 would get you in the playoffs!!! 20-4A is Jaspers district.

GCM and Lee to our district...I really thought it was gonna be BH and Dayton. I guess the UIL figured two purple teams over here was one too many. Man do I hate that color!

Looks like just two longer road trips per season for Livingston. One to Bryan and one to C.S., and they are within 100 miles. The rest are along I-45, easy for them.

Not surprised at all...its easy to travel I10 than highway 90 on a foggy night..but I think BH should've traveled along I10 with the other two!!

Football road trips were not the biggest issue for Livingston. It was all the other sports that you play two district games in like Basketball (boys and girls), Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, etc.. that killed them. It meant that every week a few busses full of kids headed over to our area. Now they only have four of those trips, so they split it in half.

Just wait until next year. Carroll parents will be going crazy at Pennington. I think the visitors side is around 3k.

Yeah but the visitors side is really small. Saw Arlington Heights fill it up. Carroll's band will take up a lot of space leaving very little room
