  1. Youre a good man JohnnyT, good man indeed. Trying to connect the dots here. Chandras X-ray = radiation Radiation = Atomic energy Atomic energy = A-Bomb Therefore is it safe that these black holes that suck named OKLAHOMA could also be A-holes? :-\
  2. After this interview, i am starting to feel better. Soulja --- we just might decide to keep that old trophy. ;D
  3. Have you had that good cup yet---if so, did it change anything? Tried Red-bull?
  4. This is an old message but I had to say something here... The Memorial Head Coach will not be defined by his first game!!! No head coach is. Lets give him a body of work of about two years before we judgew what kind of coach he will be. Totally agree with that one Short. Tell that to SFA85. ;D I truely hope Harrison is what Memorial needs to be competitive in district and make a deep playoff run. I truely hope they do good this year... Exept in week 0... ;D ;D And I'll say this for Central with exception for week 2. Ima little more nervous this year especially early on.
  5. LOL--Yeah but TT sure did suck out of state last year---especially when they went to Oklahoma.
  6. This just in from GENUS WORLDBOOK OF RECORDS "Longest sports forum thread to stick on a specific topic" [move]SETXPORTS.COM " HOW MUCH DOES OU SUCK" CONGRATS GUYS[/move]
  7. I just wonder if the Clunker for Sale car program has generated any fund raising for OU players?
  8. Lewisville was mentioned. Isn't that where Dick Olen from Baytown Lee moved to.? If so, what a way to get started.
  9. Lets just hope those white pants dont get nasty green stains on their back sides. ;D
  10. Sounds like the old Midland VS Odessa days---Get Charlie in Personnel to go find us a QB DAD and make him a drilling foreman. Take the keys to the moving truck and get em her ----now. I know that superintendant there. We miss him at Da Brook. LOL ;D ;D
  11. Hey guys --can i come out and play. BTW--who was that guy from PAM that used to say that Bruin fans are like cock roaches coming out of the wood-work. Well Here I am. Expect a slow start---but improvement along the way. They have lots to work with --- but experience --comes with working with lots. LOL Hey Soulja this just might be the year Central gets to borrow the Trophy--lol---Polish it and take good care of it--cause we gonna want it back in good shape. And if you dont get it this year, then it will be another long wait.
  12. Impressive summer ---espceially for a first year organization. Also sounds like these girls had lots of fun. But then again, fun seems to party with winning.
  13. No you don't understand, they had a great team, but they didn't have all of the best players. What could be done with the best 12-15 kids from the area, this was just the tip of the iceberg. I'll agree we didn't have all the best individual players on this team. But as a TEAM they are the best playing together in the area. You can have 12 - 15 of the BEST players talent wise but if they can't play as a TEAM it doesn't matter. Intensity is a sisterhood of girls that believe in each other, stand behind each other and love each other. Also this group of players are the biggest bunch of cut-ups and goof-offs that you'll ever see. They have fun and they are fun to be around. But when they hit the field, its like turning on a switch. It's show time and they truly believe that they are capable of beating any opponent they face. One thing I learned is sometimes we can try and control or over coach these kids when infact they probably know more about this game than we do. Ask anyone these kid basically coach themselves. Good post OSUE. I agree good coaching is essential--- but it is not all the essential elements of having a good quality team. The players have to believe in themselves, believe in each other, and with good coaching, then you should have a good team. Getting players to believe in each other can be a difficult thing to coach.
  14. Best way to de-stink your hat is to seperate it from your head. ;D
  15. Ok, first of all let me confirm Bags profound statement ---Heart is something your born with not learned. Thats deep, but you can have a "learning transplant with a good coach." So, if you give a dog peanut butter --it needs milk. Milk comes from cow utters and if the dog is not careful trying to get it himself, he might get kicked. So we--the grown ups should provide the milk. Now that this makes sense, I will add bottles of milk to my softball ice chest and take them to tournaments and give to the girls who are walking around with there tongues stuck to the roof of their mouths. Better yet i'll bring a cow. Speaking of cows, i think there is some Bull-Stuff being spread about the primadonn's. But its a free country and we can enjoy freedom of speech. That is one of our rights. Speaking of rights, there is right and wrong ways to hit the ball. So, therefore i say to all of you......linear or rotational. Have a great independance week-end. Respectfully --- and in honor to CC for calling me into this thread WeedBegone. ;D
  16. Sitting in a circle around your team that has just been eliminated from a tournament watching those varmints that just beat us strolling around with that cocky look on their faces. >
  17. It is always a good feeling strolling by a good team sitting in a circle around their coaches knowing that your ladies just eliminated them from a tournament. I've been known to make two passes just to savor that moment. ;D
  18. Another factor is the condition of home plate for timing. Starting from the beaches at the Beaumont city complex verses the baseball conditioned fields elsewhere also has an impact on times. I've seen sandy fields where you need tow trucks to get some of the players out of the box.
  19. It's a shame that glove doesn't work. What glove was she using when she made that running/diving catch in left centerfield Sunday afternoon? If it's the "glove" that made that catch, you've put way too low of a price tag on it. ;D Hey now!! Once you bid on weedBAY. Its final----
  20. No Mam, BHBLUE is not R. Roth. Both equally good, but two different fellows. As for James M., me is also good. Pappa---I agree that you are good--but at least let us speak for you. ROFLMBO
  21. Easy Weed...here you go, lol. GT Shockers 14u went 2-3 and played very competively (except for 1 fantastically bad inning) against the older teams, including "gold". Defeated Cy-Fair Shock Gold and a real quality win against Lethal Weapon in the last game, shutting them out 2-0. Overall a good weekend for the girls. LOL---Shame on those young ladies. Can you imagine what those coaches said to those older girls? Something like---you gonna get up and drive all the way over here to get beat by these T-ball toddlers followed by a bunch of @#$%$# and &$%*#!. I've witnessed and participated in a few of those speaches myself. ;D Congrats ladies.
