She's doing ok. All that celebrating from that butt kick'n we gave ya'll last year put her down pretty bad.  Luckily, she said she's about 2 weeks away from another party.  ;)
  2. We just beat a pretty good team from Whitehouse.  Still making lots of mistakes that will kill us later (penalties, dropped passed, etc).  It's probably gonna be another fun year.  Love to meet up with you guys again in San Antonio......

Tyrik is currently the back-up.  I can't see them not redshirting him if he isn't going to play this year.  I read somewhere that Cody also won the back-up competition at Nebraska.

  3. Do they play Friendswood next year?  If so, they will start with another early season loss -- but, hey, that seems to be working out pretty well for your guys the alst two years!  ;D  See you next year.  I'm off to the soccer forum!

And remeber ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY MUSTANGS!!!  (All except for LT I guess!)

Too bad they don't give out Trophies in September huh?   LMAO.

Boy what you doing over here ???   LOL

I got bored....  Figured I'd help u guys stir up something.  ;D

  4. He is a great high school QB.One of your own hometown posters said he had some trouble w/grades earlier that kept him out of another sport.CG is a scholar athelete-already graduated and gone to Nebraska. No disrespect intended, but at the next level they like smart students to teach playbooks.

Hmm...  Notice the tense of your own words...  He had to re-focused his efforts and that is no longer a problem.  He didn't seem to have any problems with learning a playbook this year.  He did play on the best offense in the nation this year (and top 5 national all time).  Check out maxpreps.com

This is the hidden content, please

The "poor grade" argument is tired anyways.  To me, it sounds like you're calling him stupid.

  6. What are we picking them for High School or College

High School i'd go with Tyrik

College i would go with Cody

(the other guy i know nothing about)

Cody can learn a play book, one can't spell play book

But then again Vince Y. was a excellent high school player, great college player, i doubt he can spell NFL, had the lowest wonderlik score (6) in the history of low wonderlik scores

It's WONDERLIC.....  Who can't spell?  I hope that sums up what everyone here thinks of Matt's post.

  7. What does that mean Wildcat. There is some smaller 3A schools that can beat some large 4A schools. It has always been big against little in enrollment in the past. The great teams from WOS never had alot to pick from but won many titles along the way.I can see the future of schools going to Consolidation with 2 schools only miles apart.

You're right...  If something has always been screwed up, we should leave it that way.  ::)

  8. This system says to me:Let's just play good enough to win 4th place in district,we can play alot of underclassmen and JV players and let them get lots of playing time, rest our starters for the playoff's so we will be healthy w/lots of depth. We can sneak in as the underdog as they do not have any real game film with our starters so we will have a advantage.

I agree...  But lets make sure that schools with 1900 kids aren't grouped with schools that have 1100...  ie: 13-4a

  9. I read somewhere that it was 17000... Ofcourse Im not sure how many were SS or Dayton but I think Dayton had more folks. I got in my seat 35 min. before gametime and I had to sit on the 25.. At that same time there were seats on the SS side that you could still sit at the 35 or 40.. Either way it was a good turnout on both sides.

Always a competition with you.....  ;D  I was there 30 min early too.... I sat on the 5.  :P
