the screen in the pictures is the ipad. there are no monitors in the coaches boxes at crosby stadium. the coach said he was taking pictures not videos, which is also illegal. he was a varsity coach on a headset.
the barbers hill coach and his scouts did not witness the videoing of the game. only the ipad in front of the coach with pictures of the game on it.
either way, this is a big advantage for any team during the game. any coach who has been around will agree to that.
