Stats for this game from Max Preps(may or may not be accused😃) Zelle Cantu QB had 200 yards completing 80% and 5 TD’s. Max didn’t have any rushing yards for him, but I know he went for 15 ish and trucked a DB. k. Schuelzky RB got most of the yards from the three backs at 84 and 1TD while DJ Jorden got 14.3 yards a carry on 4 carries. Trip Davis hauled in 3 catches for 64 yards and a TD wile 8 other receivers combined for 162 yards

Anyone have any updates on Jaydon and Cooper? I really hope it’s not the end of the season for these two athletes.

Winning or losing doesn't dictate if injures happen or not. Injuries are part of the game unfortunately and yes it does matter what the score was for the team, coaches and community! Now would everyone trade to have those players healthy in exchange for a loss? absolutely, but that's not how it works.

When I saw Manvel on the schedule this year, I thought this would probably be a loss for BH. However, with both teams going opposite directions in week one with Manvel giving up 50 and BH scoring 50 this game just got better. The Manvel I remember is the two years back-to-back that they beat us at Reliant ending our playoffs and running off to state! Manvel got beat to death by Galveston Ball while trying out 2 QB's and having fits with special teams and fumbles deep in their own territory. BH had a big win over New Caney, but at the cost of losing their #1 RB and a top receiver maybe for the season. I think Manvel will be better this week and get down to the QB they are wanting to roll with and will not turnover the ball like they did against Ball, so I don't see a repeat in means of score this week. BH's QB 1 shined last week and I only can see him getting better behind this big O-Line that BH has this year. BH will have RB by committee until they find the front runner, but all three did well last week. This one being at home I think the Eagles still come out on top, but this should be a better showing by Manvel. BH by 14

Bittersweet opening win losing two very good players in seniors Ja-Rod and Cooper, I hope they recover and get to play their senior years. Bright points tonight were the O and D lines! and not to mention the debut of Zeke Cantu QB1! Both lines dominated tonight and Zeke controlled the game and looked very confident. The back up RB's did very well all three of them! they hit the holes quick and had good field vision. LB's and comers tonight did very well too a complete game by a BH team that looked very prepared. NC on the other hand will struggle this year as they went between 2 young QB's tonight that didn't look good at all. The NC lines were very outmatched tonight as well. looking for to Manvel next week which I counted as a loss for BH, but after watching them play Galveston Ball last night i think the Eagles go 2-0.
