Hoping to get one LB back this game. Not sure about our D1 commit LB, but when he’s back BH will be set. Hope we can get through this healthy and of course a victory. Then get heathy through an easier part of the schedule and a bye week. LP’s offense is tough to defend, but if we stay disciplined and bend but don’t break we have the personnel to limit it. This game like most will be determined in the trenches and we do pretty good there. Another factor of course is turnovers! BH fumbled deep in BH territory right before the half to set Crosby up for a TD going into the half. Also fumbled on the Crosby 2 yard line! Those are killers and have to be corrected. OlDawg, do y’all still have that little RB that torched us last year? That dude was definitely a problem🙄

Same BH fumbled I think 3 times and recovered 1. Also the DB’s missed about three interceptions that hit them in the hands. Gotta clean that up.

True, but BH was starting to limit his production mid second quarter though. We wouldn’t have completely shut him down , but just by the fact that he was knocked out of the game twice shows we weren’t going to let him beat us. Coaches made some great adjustments with what they had.

One thing is for sure since LP fans are used to traveling to The Hill, the stands should be packed on both sides for this one😃

If one guy makes up 100% of your offense then yeah shutting out Crosby in the second half was nothing. Hope he heals so Crosby can score again

The one thing different this year for the Eagles is they won’t overlook the Dawgs. I think last year after an emotional OT win over Crosby they let their guard down and thought LaPorte wouldn’t be up to the task. Another big thing this year for the Eagles is our RB’s which allows us to control the game a little more. RB1 got 147 yards on Crosby and gets better each week. BH has turned into a balanced attack this year with really no one to key on as we spread the ball around. Against Crosby QB 1 threw for just over 200 yards for 5 TD’s to 4 receivers! BH hit around 250 on the ground the same game. The BH defense came in banged up but by mid 2nd quarter they had it figured out pitching a shutout in the second half. LaPorte will be another challenge this week for sure can’t wait to see how the defense responds

We got a good one this week. BH will attempt to avenge another loss they had from last year. Both teams return a lot this season with BH returning 7/6 and LaPorte returning 8/6. Last year BH fell to The bulldogs 34-27 @ LaPorte and this year the game is at BH. LaPorte has been using Eagle Stadium as their home field this year, so the home field advantage kind of dwindles. BH comes in@ 4-0 while LaPorte comes in at 3-1 with their only loss coming from their cross town rival Deer Park. BH will have a tall task containing the run game of the bulldogs as will they in containing the air attack of the eagles. You know who I got! Eagles by 7

Good game Coogs. I know it wasn’t a win , but you made a game if it. BH struggled the 1st half without their starting LB’s, but second half they went to 4 down linemen and that started plugging some holes. Yarborough (sp) was the real deal and thought he was going to be a problem with LB issue. Hope he is ok because he got rocked on that play that sent him back to the bench. Crosby’s D-line finally got tired in the 4th where we could pound the rock and control the game. Hope we get at least one of our LB,s back for LaPorte or they will run wild on us too. Props to the back ups though they came in on the road and tightened up in the 2nd half for the win.

BH hurting without their LB’s , but at least starting to show some signs on Defense. 2nd half is going to be a good one👍
