It looks like Tyler won this game last year and both team look to be much improved. I think Lufkin may struggle a little out of the box bringing the QB back in, but the Lufkin D will help in that transition. I see Lufkin by 14 as Tyler should struggle to score. Seeya next week 👊

Well, here we are the last week of non-district play! The Falcons come into BH this week sporting and 0-3 record and getting handled by Angleton last game. Foster comes out of district 20-6A where they are picked to place 5th in that district, and they return 6/5 from a 1-9 team last year. After a disappointing double OT loss to Deer Park, I would expect that the Eagles will come into this game motivated and work on cleaning up the mistakes from the last 2 games. Overall BH has surpassed my expectorations for the season and look forward to district next week which will set the tone for the district race when BH travels to Lufkin to get things started. I think the Eagles win this one big and rest the starters in the 4th.

To be clear I agree with this post. 90% of the time the BH coaching staff gets it right, but the thing that has bit us in the butt is close games. With everything that went wrong on the field we still were in a position to close the game out! I'm not sure what happens on those sidelines during these moments, but we seem to lose our minds. We start playing conservative with way too early in the game with small leads, out play calls come in to late rushing the QB and it just seems like we abandon everything that got us to that point. Anyway, I hope we can learn from this game and it makes us better going forward.

These Coaches couldn’t win a close game if they had to. From now on if we go into OT I say just forfeit and move to the next game. We get up by 7 with 9 minutes left and start milking the clock? We seem to never play to win just try to play not to lose when it’s tight. Running the ball up the middle for little to know gain and always putting your QB in 3rd and long doesn’t help either…oh well I’m just rambling now ,but this is getting old fast.

BH offense is playing terrible. QB is scared , play calling is vanilla . Only bright point so far is the defense.BH doesn’t look prepared at all. Throw turn overs on top and we are very lucky to be down by only 7

This is the game I have been looking forward to! Deer Park is picked to place 4th in their 6A district just like Manvel and have started out the year 1-1 narrowly defeating their cross town rivel LaPorte and then getting handled by the Woodlands this week. Deer Park returns 5/6 from a 9-2 bi district team from last year. Like last game this is one of the games preseason that i predicted a loss for the Eagles, but BH showed me I was wrong last game and hopefully show me that i am wrong again This year's BH team is definitely impressing me especially on the defensive side of the ball and with the emergence of Mr. Morton alongside Mr. Davis the offense can be very dangerous. I would expect DP to win this at home, but I think BH will give them all they want and then some. BH by 7

Agree with 82! The defense is playing very well and might have pitched a shutout if not for some mis cues in the 1st half. I knew this would be a better game for Manvel and they cleaned up the mistakes from last week and settled on their QB. BH QB playing in wet conditions tonight didn’t have as good of a night, but his team played solid and finished the game. Next week should be the toughest test for the Eagles thus far playing Deer Park at their house! Good game Eagles
