Lucky for you Texas High will be on our side of the bracket assuming Crosby is 1 seed and BH is 2. Crosby may get whitehouse or one of the Montgomery teams in round 2

BH has a lot of big classes coming up. We will move up then the struggle starts again😩. Hope we get one more shot and n Div2 before moving up.

I don’t think we move up next realignment, but the one after will be close. Crosby is the largest enrollment at this point, so they may go next. Anywho this will be a good game to see ,but I see Ned falling behind early and BH playing sound football to take the win. The reason I think this is that Ned has been feeding on the bottom dwellers for three weeks and will have to adjust quickly to the higher level of competition. I hear ya, but I don’t think Ned has been tested yet and the two loses they took were to average teams IMO. BH has lost to three teams 2 close games to bigger schools that could have went either way and those teams currently share 1 loss between them for the season. The other loss was to Crosby which was lopsided due to 6 turnovers. Since the PNG loss Ned has played the bottom three teams in district, so this will be a much different game. Do I think Ned can win? Yes and that’s why we play the game, however I don’t think they can win without BH turning the ball over or just blowing coverage on defense.

Nederland is at least a 3 trick pony 😀. Joking but from the film I have seen they have 3 on offense to be concerned with being the QB, RB and WR/TE not sure which he is but big strong receiver. I also think that Ned is a better overall team than PNG, but came up short in their contest. BH has to come in and take care of business because Nederland will keep them honest!

Agreed. Crosby’s offense isn’t bad by no means it just isn’t the explosive offense that the Coogs are known for. Defense has arrived for Crosby and that is going to make you a tough out in the playoffs for anyone! Crosby will win out and grab the DC!

Since this may be our last competitive game in district let’s get this started 😁. This is a big district game just like the PNG/Crosby game going on down the road. These games should get the seedings almost set for the playoffs. BH wins and we get a least 2nd and home field 1st round. Ned wins and there hope for a 2 seed is still alive with some help from Crosby. Anyway this game is in BH and I think they are hitting their stride as long as the Eagle don’t repeat that 6 turnover turd they laid in Crosby they come out with a win. I don’t think BH will win like they did against PNG, but will pull away in the second half with a convincing win.

I know the Crosby fans will disagree, but I don’t think you will see the offensive output from the Coogs as you did from BH. The Crosby offense wasn’t what got BH, it was their Defense setting up the Offense all night. Crosby has some ball hawks ,so your throws have to be sharp and hold on to the ball or it will be stripped! With that said Crosby will move the ball on PNG and on the other side limit the PNG offense. I got the Coogs by 21.

Texas City used to be a powerful program , but like la Marque not so much anymore. I remember both of those teams winning state during the same year one going Div 1 and the other Div 2. Crosby by as much as they want

Nederland should walk off with this game. Dayton still struggling, but hopefully making the changes needed to get back to being competitive. Goodluck to both and we’ll see ya next week👍

Should be a good game to practice tightening up the defense.KWP is not a threat on the ground, but the QB is pretty agile and can sling the rock around. Like BH the week before I think the Indians will come out and take some frustrations out on KWP , I look for a blow out win for the Indians

Yeah that’s one thing folks don’t realize BH doesn’t hang around in a class long enough to make much of an impact. Every time we start competing it seems like we’re on to the next division 😩 then the growing pains come again. I think we have been in this division for 10 years now and went from the smallest to now one of the biggest in Div2. Crosby seems to be growing as well so we may both move up soon.

Jesus! Give up 24 to Crosby then let Santa Fe blow up! I’m so confused about Dayton as I thought the new coach may bring some of that Bronco football back.

Yup, this was our story against Crosby. 3 minutes to go into the half and it’s a 10-7 ball game with Crosby in the lead. Crosby turns the ball over and gives us the ball mid field and I’m thinking sweet go down and score then we’re up 14-10 with the ball coming out of the half😁 Then bam turn over the ball on a trick play and then a pick by Crosby in 3 minutes turns into 10 points for Crosby and a 20-7 advantage going into the half. BH never recovered.

If you are looking at max preps BH hasn’t played Santa Fe , but they show us losing 21-20 to them😊 We play Santa Fe next week.

Yeah BH played tough teams early. Falling apart against Crosby had me thinking, but boy did they come back tonight! BH dominated both lines tonight and our JR QB just blew up! He defiantly had his best game tonight. I don’t think anyone expected this what a great team effort by the Eagles. Tough loss for the Indians tonight, but good luck and finish strong! Unfortunately though Crosby is going to be a handful
