You are right, you did see a glimpse of what Nederland will look like next year without Mosley when they played Central. Gutierrez had a very good game. Add to the mix Paul Roy and Cameron Bass who did not play in that game and the run game should be pretty dang good again. We scored 24 without Mosley in that game and the problem was the defense, not the offense. All of the sub-varsity teams were good so we should re-load as usual.

As for Lumberton returning a billion starters and lettermen, big deal.. They return all that from a last place team that lost to Ozen. They'll finish middle of the pack at best. we are only sayin that we arent losin that many people and usually when you have almost all of the starters returning you tend to have a good team no one is already sayin that we are gonna win district we are just sayin we will improve we only got blown out two teams compared to getting blown out by every team last year

Lumberton is only losing 5 starters and they had a pretty good offense this year so they should make some noise in district next year

i wanna know how bryce dejohn didnt get it over mosier and jeremy garza didnt get it for reciever i think some people got jacked out of some spots on it i know the coaches vote but the second ranked quarterback in the district for passing didnt get anything i think there needs to be a revote on this one when we played nederland mosier didnt impress me at all

who ever LUMBERTON RAIDERS is needs to stop runnin their mouth!! Lumberton will be good next year but some of the other teams in the district are gonna be just as good "DAYTON" and i dont know how "the scoop" can talk crap on the quaterback when he was the second in passin yards and i think first in completion percentage ya we may not have done as good as we would of liked to but 4-6 is better than what it has been recently with only 5 starters leavin for lumberton i do not see anything less than 7-3 and a playoff spot for the first time in lumberton history and if you dont think the quaterback is good than you better watch out cause he is only going to get better just like he has been doin since his sopohmore year

Lumberton had a 99 3/4 yard drive startin on the 1in line against LCM

Kirbyville had a 99 yard drive this year against Liberty i think

Look for Lumberton to have a good team as well considerin they are only losin five starting seniors

I think that it will be a pretty close game considering that both teams have similiar offenses i dont think you can say that the indians are more disciplined then the raiders. coming off of a hard fought game that they had a chance to win boost the raiders moral and they pull off the win friday night good luck to both teams

well im #54 the starting right tackle & i was the fat guy kicking off so i was in the game yall fumbled twice in the red zone and once around the 35 and as for you saying are quarterback is average! i would hate to see an awesome quaterback throw against yall if he can throw 280 yards on yall so i did play and i did watch film so im pretty sure yall didnt fumble 3 times in the red zone. we fumbled three times to on drives where yall couldnt stop us so that might of helped us jack the score even more up on yall good win for us cause now the race for playoffs is busted wide open

Dayton will more than likely win this district all the other playoff spaces in this district are wide open dayton was just plain out awesome the mistakes at the start of the game is what killed us and their offense did back off in the 4th but their defense stayed on the whole game as for the Vidor/Lumberton rivalery it started when Lumberton was just one game away from being in the playoffs two years in a row and Vidor beat them both times

fuller was the only one who ran the spread offence. everyone else from JV to 7th were running credeur's offense. That's why nobody is going to have to learn anything new. It was just the seniors who needed to learn his offense.

No one was makin excuses we were pointing out the key players that wont be playin we know we have are hands full with Dayton and we are going to try are best to leave there 1-0 in district but for us to do that we are going to have to play a near perfect football and be mistake free. no one is running their mouths and if we do lose then we lost to a very good football team there are no excuses
