High Island over Leggett 21 - 3 not 100% on the 21.

They are doing pretty well from what I here. Look at the Colmesneil Track meet results. My Brother In-Law Coaches at Cushing and he said that Zavalla has been doing well.

High Island is supposed to go to Leggett Monday

HD should be playing in High Island this Friday, the first game was played at HD.

I do not think there will be any trouble for West Hardin Next year, as long as they have enough kids to play. Leggett has battled this before over the past few years. High Island was not able to field a team back in 85 and had to cancel their season before District play and then was able to play the next season. I doubt UIL will punish WH for not having enough kids turn out to play. The only way UIL will make a stink about it is if other Districts make formal complaints and follow the process. I doubt that will happen. There is no need!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not know either party involved here, just a word of advice.......IMO. player_2009, you need to get used to hearing that statement, it will have its effect on you at one time or another after High School. The truth about the statement is that who you know gets your foot in the door and what you know or don't know surfaces really quick in your performance on the job. Don't let this change affect your game. Good Luck wth the rest of Ditrict Play.

both teams played well... few errors at the end by HI cost us the game but evadale played great it was a good game all around... good luck to both teams through the rest of district... cant wait to see how the second game is gonna turn out its gonna be another close one.

Their Ace oitched against High Island the day before and pitched 4 good innings. The mound was in terrible shape and the mud caked on the the cleats really took a toll. Good Luck guys with the rest of the season.....
