WOW Aggie, I didn't know that!!! Can you imagine Peterson walking into your coaches office and saying I'm transfering here!!!

I talked to some people who scouted Peterson, they said he was the team. They said most everything he got was on his own, like a man against boys. The rest of the team was not very good at all they said.

If a QB has Adrian Peterson in his backfield he can win a bunch of titles doing nothing but turning around and handing him the ball. College coaches look at alot of things about a player and then try to project what kind of player he will be a few years down the road. I agree with westend1.

Yeah HD we called it shotgun alley,and we got to do it as a reward for a good practice. I remember 3hr practices, no water and only a cup of a gatoraide solution at the mid practice break that was so full of salt you could hardly drink it. Cotton mouth so bad we would suck the sweat out of our jerseys to get some moisture in our mouths. Yeah fond memories. 8)

Like I said don't have a problem with it except when the topic is about a kid. And if an Aggie does it on thread about a kid, I would say the same thing.

Good natured trash talking is OK, I do that myself. But when talking about a kid we need to leave it alone. Plus it is nice to have some real football conversation sometimes like Aggies and Horns and Lsu fans have every now and then without it. But in order to do that you actually have to know some football.

Really HD you are making all UT fans look bad when you keep coming on A&M threads dogging the Aggies, A&M must really be in your head. But please don't come on here talking trash when we are talking about a high school kid.. Some of you good UT fans need to call this guy out!!

I had the pleasure of meeting this young man last year,and he really seemed like a friendly well mannered young man. No doubt he is a very special athlete!! Proud to have him represent A&M. Thanks for the article Lionfan.
