the difference between last years team and this years PNG team is that last years team had most of the defense coming back this year most are gone (except for maybe 1 or 2 starters) PNG will still be a playoff team though because the offense will be good but i dont think theyll be as good as they were in 07

youre correct Dickinson is the D1 Representative and will play Lamar Consolidated in the first round...there's a good change though La Marque might get beat by El Campo its not the same La Marque team this year as in year's past

depends if Nederland takes tonights loss as a motivator and not quit cause we can still make the playoffs if we win and dayton wins

wos87 if Dayton beats PNG next week and Nederland beats Lumberton doesnt that mean the 3 playoff teams are Dayton PNG and Nederland regardless of the point spread

got to hand it to Dayton fastest team we've seen all year defensively and offensively hats off to them now over to my team on defense it looked like to me we were trying hard to strip the ball we just forgot to tackle and i seriously hope we dont go with the 3 man front again this year

well ive heard that Nederland has about 1500 or so that sounds a bit more accurate than 1994

Its good to hear that Bass is back but i think works better for us this year is to use multiple backs in one game (meaning Bass,Breaux, and Roy getting playing time) i think the one thing that worries me the most that Dayton might do is the sweep around the ends which several teams has beat us on this year hopefully well get that under control on friday night and play an injury free game

just curious where you heard those numbers from (i heard Nederland has about 1500 or so) even if those are real both Vidor and Nederland will likely stay 4A with the cutoff number being over 2000 this time but you never know with the UIL

well after watching the game tonight again ill second the above statement now off subject one positive ive noticed is defensively this year the defense is doing a much better job at tackling (not nearly as many arm tackles or tackling high this year)

only thing ive got to say is buckle your seat belts we're in for a wild ride in 22-4A the next 4 weeks
