But balke sis a great job IMO.  Denny has been the starter since his freshman years.  A lot of experience goes with that speaking the obvious here.  Blake did a great job coming in and filling in for a 3 year starter now.  You Dayton folks can brag all you want you got the W but you did it with 2 fluke plays.  Now had that busted play been just a first down play like it was intended to be the ponies might have actually earned a TD and not have had one of the 2 handed to them.  It was a hard faught game between 2 really good teams just so happens Dayton got the breaks and the W.
bh beat dayton. Did I miss something. Honestly your oponion is ignorant. A kickoff return for a td is not a fluke play. Now dayton muffing the xtra point that was a fluke. The way I see it the score should of been 7-6 and dayton wouldnt have needed that last td.
There was a penalty that gave them a second chance at the kick off return.  Other wise they would have been inside the 5.  So a great return set up by a penalty.  The go for it on 3rd and short and it turning into a TD.  Ok maybe not flukes… but lucky helps with skill there you happy? My point is BH beat Dayton on offense and defense with the 2 field goals.  But it just wasn’t enough thanks to lady luck mixed with some skills.  There get it?  Ignorant would be convincing your self that two lucky breaks means Dayton was the better team.  They won... They got lucky!  But sometimes you have to be good to get lucky.  That they are but they could lose to the hill just as easy as they won.  Hats off to the ponies and there win.
I guess it was lucky for Bh we muffed punts all night long and gave BH excellant field postion  and it was lucky we stuffed your offense  inside the red-zone how many times. It was lucky BH only had 11 players to stop a guy run 95 yds for a TD.It was lucky you got Home-field advantage two years in row.It was lucky for Dayton we had more penalties than BH also Dayton had a penalty on a kick-off -lucky Bh couldnt return it for a TD.Lucky BH offense sputered with 2 min left in the 4th keeping them from getting a fluke TD to win the game. Thank god for luck.
Did you miss the skill part?  I guess so... So we'll go here then! Dayton won but they still suck! Then when they win again. Which I'm sure they will because they got skillzzz and they are lucky. They will still freaking suck! News flash if you missed it earlier. The Dayton phillies suck. That should about do it.

 4. WOW... :o  The Hill is going to make the playoffs the first year with coach Gage. Who saw that coming? I guess the Hill is for real... In District!  ;D
 5.
Yes, Coach Price is actively looking for a HC job.  I know of 3 interviews that he has been on recently, may be more that I dont know about.
Hmmm... I wonder?  If Price goes to a district BH has to compete against and they beat THE HILL will the school board bring him back like they did Skidmore?   :o  LOL

 8.
Once again TABC is smoking dope if they think BH is better than Livingston. That is a complete joke if I ever saw one. 9.
I want to know who ranks these teams. I have seen Barbers Hill and Central play and neither one of those teams look like a top 10 team in the area nor top 15 in the state. Some people have to smoking dope to come up with these rankings. Central lost to Livingston and Willis and cannot be ranked above neither of those two. Barbers Hill, bwahahahahahaha. You make me laugh with these rankings. Sick I say.
Your just jealous... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!  ;D
 10.
Fitzhenry would be a great choice. I agree!
Well... please do your part and talk to the school board members and let them know your thoughts and tell others to do the same.  Let them know what the community thinks.

I have seen the job posting. It would make no sense for a small 4-A school district to have those two salaries on the books. It's just not good money management in my opinion. Sheldon ISD does it locally, so it's not out of the realm of possibilities. But you are correct, we shall see.
Let me rephrase that statement they are considering making it 2 seperate positions... How's that?

 14. Hey coop remember the post recently about Gidding stopping Beasley last year. I think this kind of goes the same way. Last year Giddings did not play good enough football to win with turnovers and mistakes and this year I think the same happend to WOS. I think WOS is just as good a team as Giddings and either team could have won that one. Just happened to be Gidings this year.
 15. This has been being said the entire season. It was said that WOS would stop their run. Hmmmm... who will it be or will the Buffs prove a lot of "One dimentional team can't win a state title" believers wrong. I guess only time will tell.
 16. That is why they suit up and play the games. If not USC would be National Champions for ever!!
 17. Ahh....... the beauty of the edit button. Hee Hee Hee Now I don't look so stupid. I really screwed that one up. I got a call on the radio and had to hurry up.
 18. OH dear God it is THEIR & THERE for crying out loud!!!!!!!!!
 19. Wrong!!!! They did get stopped last year they had 2 losses I think Cameron Yoe and Hutto. This year they have not lost and they have played some good teams. I do not argue the fact that WOS is better than last year they are a good ball team. It is a given, WOS just reloads every year. I will argue that Gidding's is better though. They returned a lot of people and Fitzhenry was only a Sophmore then and he was one of the top rushers in Central Texas. This year he is smarter, bigger, stronger, quicker, and faster. He is definitely more settled in at the QB position and more confident in his abilities. They also could not help but get better returning the people they did hence forth the undefeated record. I read all of the posts on here and the Downlow that you have to stop Fitz. I don’t think people are giving the other 2 backs enough credit. Running the style offense they run you have to stop all three, the other 2 will beat you just as well as he will. Don’t get me wrong, this is going to be a great game and I am not going to try and pick a winner.
 20. I got the opportunity to see both teams 2 times this year. They are both really good and it is a shame they have to meet this early. There are 2 "IF" I see in this one. "IF" WOS can stop the Buff's stampede and that is a BIG "IF" because no one has done it this year and they have played some good teams. "IF" Giddings can stop WOS's passing attack. When it comes to WOS’s running game I think Giddings will slow it, but not stop it. I know everyone says the Buff's are one dimensional, but they can pass, just do not much and why when you are putting up the yards per carry they are. Don't be surprised to see a few passes start flying the farther they get. The one thing Giddings can't do this year that they did last year was put the ball on the ground and miss opportunities when they present themselves, because WOS will not miss many of their opportunities. I am not going to pick one over the other because these are 2 good team and they both deserve to play farther. I am just going to root for the Buff’s.
 21. Maybe they could get BC'S band if they are available. I did not get to see the halftime show because I like to be social, but I tell you they were real loud during the game. So much so that I had to look up and see if our band was playing at the same time. At times they were and I could hear BC'S band over BH"S. They were freakin loud!!
