I think their is a reason we have 2 120 pound running backs.  You know I'll take a shot a coach we I feel it is needed but I do not think they are not going to keep someone off the field that is giving his all. I bet Mathew would have enjoyed having a bone crusher playing behind him this year but RB 101 says you can not hit the line running straight up and down. Just my feedback. I have been watching him for 2 years just like the rest of you. I really wish he would just run smack over someone so he would know his full potential. A little Thurmond Blake in him and he could be all state.

Just thought you guys may want to know that we will down one fan this week. BH EAGLE Herschel Williams class of 37 passed away at the age of 91. He is the gentleman who was always at the games with his son in law and grandson and until this year was generally about three or four rows up. This year he was in a wheel chair but still did not miss any games including the ones when he should not have been out in that weather. He got to see his last game last Friday night. He was a football and track guy at BH back in the day and got to see his Grandson play for the EAGLES in the late 80's. We will miss him but now he has the best seat in the house.

With all the injuries lets start them all against Crosby and surprise them. With the injury to #20 that new back should knock the socks off the COOGS with that BLAZING speed. It should be a great game to watch. Please make sure they update the program. ;D

Oh no the secret is out. I know sometimes I get carried away with negative motivation. EAGLES go out there and kick butt. The Broncos will be ready but you guys can play much better than last week. Let's see here, Dayton is so mad they can't see straight because they were humbled by a team that now feels like won the state title vs. a team that has no game plan on either side of the ball and has quit( for good reason) on the coaching staff and can not even get fired up for home coming. They have to head north and play in the mad teams woodshed HMMMMMMM. I will predict Dayton by as much as Stewart wants over my Eagles. My other prediction is I should be across the street ordering pizza for the trip home by half time. :-[

Easily the best team you have had since the twins graduated (the Eagles last playoff team) See you next week, if you hear a rumbling sound from the north next week, it might be the stampeding Broncos! I can try to answer ,but not sure it will help. Dayton lost the two kids on their team that was responsilbe for 90% of the offense last year. Can't be replaced don't care how you slice it. Since the D is out of jail now Dayton should have a better defense ;D I cannot see Dayton making a return trip to state this year probably a third round loss. Is that a bad thing NO I would love to see round 3 (With my team playing that is);D if you sat through BH's seasons last two years you would understand the excitment for us this year. This years BH team is a traditional team and something BHFans were used too for the last decade! We have had two years sitting at the house during the playoffs and as far as you can see down to the 7th grade there is TALENT!!!!! BH isn't a great team, but a competitive one at this point. Dayton is still the better team and will make the most noise in this district IMHO. Goodluck Broncos! Well said BH FAN. Life is much better this year. beer sales on the Hill are way down. Come on 32, do you believe what a meteorologist say's? Now if they said it would sunny with no chance of rain I'd be worried. I did get my hurricane last year which saved several BH football lives. Last years team was not near ready for that road trip to SFA. Just think a hurricane that saved lives.

Barbers hill all the way, but it is time to establish some consistency. Also we should have some bad weather rolling in about the time we head up there. Not sure what effect that will have. :-\

All the guys did a great job Friday night. The line worked hard to get #20 some holes and he took advantage. He has come a long way in a short time. Now the defense has to respect the run unlike the first four games. It was great to watch. I'm not saying we can play with Dayton yet or will be playing in December but the guys took a big step towards getting some respect back on the Hill. Great job to all the EAGLES.

If you remember one of our last year in 3A we ran a full back (Clay McWilliams) out in front of our 1/2 back (may have been patton) and out in front of Daniels. We ran the sweep as good as anyone, just ask Bridge City (at Crosby-playoff game). I see the same potential in Bradford, as he should run over most linebackers. Would be interesting to see a few times if nothing else. # 20 could easily hide behind 34 and break out from behind a block. Might make an interesting play/option. Yes, I remember that, the difference is you had a guy like Clay lead blocking. I'm sorry but at this point 34 hasn't shown that he can handle the job running or blocking. It's all good. We have to do what we have to do with what we got. These guys are alot of fun to watch and you can tell most of them give 100% every play. One just can't help but wonder how good they would be if they had a RB to keep the defense honest. Maybe as we go through district #20 can break a few and get the defenses attention. ;D

OK.........how do you suggest they protect # 11 when they run him most of the time. If we continue down the road we went with GP (#11 most every play), he will be at 80% of the carries very soon. BH has NEVER protected the QB, it's not in their game plan. It's why we get our tails kicked against a fast defense (Dayton, Kirbyville, Central, etc.). We all see the same things you do. It is just hard to believe that the same school that produced Hanson, Jones, Blake and many others has to count on the QB 90% of the time. It is kind of interesting to watch a spread where the QB is the spread. It is not anyones fault I'm sure if we had a 8th grade running back right now they would move him up.

The EAGLES had a good game against GP and will need to be their A-GAME against King. There are some folks over there who would love to beat the Hill. One of them use to run the BH offense and coached some of the current team as underclassmen. Of course there are some differences because he had two backs that could get 7 or 8 yards a handoff when he was here. He didn't have the wide outs that this team has though. EAGLES will just have to take care of business and for heavens sake protect #11 or it will be a very long district season.

::)Hey 34 you only stated the obvious. We were spoiled at BH with some of the backs we had in the 90"s and early 00's. We had some really good ones who went on to play some ball at the next level and when the QB did take off and run it was a suprise to the defense. Starting with Daniel's (who should have been a running back not the QB) we got into the one man show deal and have not shaken it. Some of that is for reason's you stated. We are just not going to be not going to be as successful as we were when the D had to worry about Blake first then the QB then the pass. Right now I would have to say that we have one of the best group of recievers we have ever had together at one time and they are saving the season. Now district starts and we have a fairly week group at the bottem tier so we may back into the playoffs and get smashed but at least we will be back in the playoffs even though it may be the 4th seed. I will say this group does have alot more heart than the last couple of years and they are young so good things are coming. I will be at the games as normal pulling for the EAGLES and i'm sure you will too!
