Lol yea, And I wouldn't know I'm in Houston, with 6 different HS to choose from for my youngest (Spring) , but yes BISD has to make changes to there zoning, or Brook will continue to be over crowded and Ozen will stay small

I may be wrong isn't Westbrook already overcrowded and Central already being a big 5A, wouldn't 2highschools make matters worse ?

I'm from South Park, stayed there thur the 6th grade until I moved to Hale st, in the north end an went to French, So I know the talent on the southside, u don't have to tell me, my son was apart of ozens 2nd graduating class, so I know ....all I'm saying is Either coach would have worked , is just my opinion on Louis, that's all

Yea, that is true, but I mean Ozen was a new school ,..but like I said Brooks or Louis would should still be the coach today. I would have loved to see what Brooks could have done with more time though , but if I'm choosing between the two I'm picking Louis., I believe with the wins and direction of the program colleges would have came, as well as wins against the MC schools

Only reason I didn't say Brooks was he was there so short (3yrs). But Brooks was a good coach and had Ozen on a roll, they messed up by letting either one go. I still like Louis though, he could get talent to Ozen, no doubt + back then it wasn't to many teams beating Nederland or P.N.G, + Louis made the playoffs every year and had 2 district titles in 5 seasons , with a new school. They were on there way Imo my list 1.Louis 2. Brooks 3. Nelson

Is Arthur Louis still out there lol...They should have kept him, he had Ozen going in the right direction from the get go, and they probably would have been the top program in Beaumont and one of the best in SETX if he was still there right now..Coach Louis had big connects throughout Beaumont. The kids loved him as well as the parents, and he had relationships with all the coaches as well. He woulda had all the kids from South Beaumont as well as a few coming in from the west end ...

Like I said before it was kinda An uneven Playing field with Gorman, but Cedar Hill didn't make matters any better by talking noise over social media lol

Cedar Hill hung tough but the depth that Gorman and just weapons wore them down and Is showing now

Don't forget Undefeated (3-0) Cypress Bay came and lost 31-6 to (2-2) Katy who was coming off a blowout lost or 2010 #8 Desoto beat #3 Mirami 42-41. That was a great game

Texas, Florida and Cali have the best product over all, with Louisiana and Ohio coming in at a distant 2nd .. It's pretty even though with the top 3

Ain't to many top teams that come to Texas and win..The only one I can just think off was when Miami Northwestern came an Beat SLC in Dallas..(even though SLC didn't even make it out the 2nd round )

And don't forget when that top team from Washington 11x state champ from 2001-2013 Ballevue came an got beat by Katy a few years ago
