He's not?? I mean how many coaches would love a winning season every year with a bowl game?? Not to many doing that,..plus he made A&M relevant again, before he got there A&M was a avg football program. Don't forget hes the reason A&M fans feel 10+ wins is a norm now (think about that for a sec)

They should, Sumlin is probably one of the better coaches in the country ..hes sure better then alot of coaches with jobs

Yea I like that, The black just brings out an Intemidation factor, you know and with the Hurricanes as a logo.. That would be perfect

1st choice , Give me the Hurricanes with the OIlers colors (Black & Silver or Black and Orange) and instead of using he “U” logo using a real Hurricane logo since it’s what United the two schools in the first place 2nd choice would be the Oilers, I like that Black and Silver with the Oilers logo which the city is known for and for the Highschool name , how bout Boomtown HS lol Boomtown Oilers and like someone else said, put a star where Beaumont would be

Good matchups for the playoffs , My prediction is : Oklahoma vs Bama I believe Lincoln Riley will do something similar to what he did to Ohio State front and beat Georgia on the edge since he can't beat them with power, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Georgia out physical the sooners into submission On the other side I really believe Bama will dominate Clemson, with everyone saying Bama shouldn't be here and ect I believe we will see a mad Bama team in the Sugar Bowl and they'll play like it

I’m sitting here watching Wisconsin get beat down by Ohio States defense and just started thinking , are pocket passers dead in college football? with the amount of speed defenses are putting on the field if your QB just sits in the pocket he’s almost like a sitting duck. Idk maybe I’m just not seeing them but if I’m a college coach I’m probably not recruiting any pocket passers to Be my QB im Strickly talking about College , in the NFL the best ones are pocket passers but in college I don’t see it

Wait Northshore wasn’t in Deer Park and La Portes district ,..NS I’m in 21-6A La Porte, Pasadena and Deer Park is in 22-6A Yea they did go 3-7 but there best season was in that district so I wouldn’t say they weren’t successful

Memorial had their best season in that district, and to be honest WestBrook probably wins that district this year... they both need to go 21-6A with Baytown and Channelview in that district and they should move Galena Park out to 12-6A with the woodlands and move Lufkin into Longview’s district with all the other teams in that area smh.

I don’t think it will happen, but if I’m RJ, I’m going to WestBrook , the Receivers they have there, He May break the single season Passing Record ,.as well as just offense of weapons , and not to mention playing against 6A competition .l.

The real key in the whole process will be the coach, ...Dont matter how many athletes you have, if you don't have a coach worth a flip , it'll never be up to its potential .if we're being honest and kids go to where there post to This school should have some of the better athletes in the State, but with no good coaching and structure/program it won't matter

I wouldn't necessarily put off the football team being good, I feel with the merger the school may get thoes guys at Westbrook from the Pear Orchard as well as the kids walking the halls of Ozen due to the football team.not being good, and trust me it's a few of them just walking around

With the enrollment of more then 3,000 kids maybe not and even If they do staff is needed throughout BISD, thats why i mentioned earlier of being at other schools, but I see your point Soulja trust me, I felt the same way back in the day. It's alot of positives that can come from this in due time. Central is out dated and should have been delt with a long time ago , they just keep putting bandaids on gun shots with that school, you know lol. Now if they had renovated or built a new one WE probably wouldn't even be having this conversation

As do I, the only ones I feel won't be retained are coaches , other then that I'm subbing now on days I don't have anything to do, and you should hear which im sure you have, how bad BISD needs staff/teachers. Idk if you knew but they've even talked about the idea of teachers not having to have a certification now and just being hired . Maybe demotion but I don't see people just being thrown to the curve , when they're already in short supply

Soulja i know how you feel about not wanting to close the schools down , same way i felt when they closed French down , but it didn't turn out to be that bad, plus with the shape the district is in no one would lose jobs, hell they need staff everywhere .theyll just be relocated to a different campus , plus the kids deserve a newer campus. Centrals been there since I was in school and my nephew went there and told me about the facilities

Yea I actually like the Panthers or Jaguars but as seeing you would have to compromise and pick another big Cat (Lions,Wildcats,Tigers ect) which arr over used why not be unique and go a diff route you know

Exactly plus the area is known for storms, and instead of Blue and Grey let’s go Black and Orange Cus I’m biased (OKST C/0 87) and for the name idk how about Durley Highschool or Tyrell Highschool , that would be a good question on the name honestly I would love another Beaumont French but again I’m Biased lol (C/0 82)
