  1. Cool. One member of the Spirit Squad, Nick Mitchell, (I'm not sure of his wrestling name . . . Nicky???), played for the Drillers a couple of seasons ago. I hope he does well in the WWE, but before he can really succeed, Vince has to kill that stupid group of characters he created for those guys.
  2. I like the idea, as long as they make it a day-long event and not clear the venue between games.
  3. I chose NCAA f/b, but if I could put an asterik by it, I'd like to qualify it as a big-time college game in a big-time college stadium. Florida @ Florida State comes to mind, Michigan or Penn State @ Ohio State, Washington State & Washington, etc.
  4. That sounds like a good plan.
  5. That is a good idea. I'd be happy to call in/text updates to anyone willing to post them.
  6. I'm still trying to figure that one out. At first, I thought it was the QB's fault, but when thet problems continued after changing QBs, it might have been the Center's fault all along. Either way, IMO, at this point in the season, something that basic should not be an issue. We still had a lot of fun at the game, despite the loss. I just hope that Indoor Football remains in Beaumont for the 2007 season and beyond.
  7. I didn't think officiating was any better or worse than normal. Like Gusher said, the most damaging thing for the Drillers was the Center/QB exchange. :?
  8. Absolutely! Last year was kind of messed up due to the hurricane and my subsequent work schedule when we returned from evacuation, but typically yes, we do attend Nederland's games, no matter where they are playing.
  9. LOL, even though she is not a big sports fan, she does enjoy going to Drillers games. She genuinely has a good time every time she goes.
  10. Exactly!! I love having football year-round! My wife's not too thrilled, but I love it!!
  11. Listening is good, and a great option if there is some reason you can't attend (e.g. work), but nothing can match the excitement of being in the arena for a game. Believe me, it is way different than attending a hockey game, or even an 11-man outdoor game. The arena atmosphere makes all the action up-close and personal. This is going to be an awesome game!
  12. Despite having played them three times this year, this will be my first look at Katy this season. I'm looking forward to seeing Winchester, Locks & Co. put the BAM on Morris.
  13. Yeppers, this one should set a franchise attendance record. I can't wait!!
