When I read this thread it sounds to me that several are making Nederland look like sore losers.  I am proud of our basketball team and the coaches for their accomplishments this year.  I am not sore they lost in the Regional Semi-Finals..... heck, that's the farthest we have been since the 1940's.....you run into really good teams that deep in playoffs and that is exactly what happened Friday night.... Ball out played us.  As for what I am hearing about the assistant coaches, I do not believe for one minute that any of the assistants would purposely NOT have their head in the game Friday night.... sorry, just sounds to me like an excuse for blame of losing the game.  English is wonderful Coach and we will see a successful basketball program from him.... Neumann hired us a good Basketball Coach.... so what is the problem?  Stop the blaming and excuses, IMO, but what do I know right, just an observation here.  Congrats on a wonderful run in playoffs guys and as always I will be in the stands doing my job of cheering and supporting our teams.

This team and Coach English have me so proud of them I am just speechless.  Thank you so much for this memorable season.  Good luck to the boys in their future careers and looking forward to cheering on our boys returning for next years team.

I am getting mine at 2pm ...... it is a 2 hour drive to Katy.... you have to make it there before 4:30 or you will get caught in traffic and/or accidents on I-10.  If that happens you will be lucky if you make it by halftime.  They didn't nickname that part of I-10 as "THE BEAST" for nothing.  I lived out there during 2008-2009 and I won't do it again!  They spent close to 1Billion dollars improving that whole area to move traffic better.... it has improved but the drivers haven't.  Drive safely and get on the road EARLY!!!!! By the way, I used the website to buy my tickets also..... took all of 3 minutes to get them..... very easy and fast. GO DOGS!

thanks Soulja ... our guys do deserve it and I along with the rest of our fans will be there Friday night giving it all we have.  We know our competition is tough and will get even tougher as we travel along in this.  I am convinced that Coach English will prepare the boys to the best of his ability and show up Friday night with our "A" game.  And I agree .... we are a part of that "tougher competition" that our opponents will have to face.
