  1. My objective observation is that baddog is a spiteful "teenager like" adult who is still pissing and moaning over an assessment made about his team 3 weeks ago. That he will scout threads that don't even concern his team because the stinger of reality is painfully evident that the assessment was accurate after each time his team plays. I also know that he spends much time trying to come up with his quirky little posts to make himself seem like something other than what he REALLY is, but his underlying tone is embarassingly evident and he doesn't even realize it. I think he TRULY feels he is speaking for all of Bulldog fans in his posts, but in reality, most Bulldog fans wish he would just shut the heck up. He repeatedly accuses me of whining, homerism, and denouncing other teams, but has yet to provide any proof of his accusations (because they don't exist). How is that? I can come up with more if I need to, I just thought I would go easy to start and bring in the really hard stuff as back up... I think that is a pretty fair assessment.
  2. I hear the Silsbee 8th grade is loaded! 7th grade WOS- 22 Jasper- 0
  3. WOS JV- 30 Jasper JV- 0 9:39 3rd qtr
  4. ...and most of the people who usually pick WOS to win are not usually WOS people. However, when you have won every district game you've played since 2004 and have a talented team coming back, who wouldn't pick you to win it? I think that is kind of silly saying that it's "annoying" because people pick them. As for WOS being overrated, probably are right now. I do not think we are the 3rd best team in the state. Good thing "right now" doesn't matter. I will say this and I say it with the most objectove outlook I can. I truly feel that WOS will bring a state title back to this area before any other team in the triangle does. It's not a matter of if, but when. Now, if you include Kirbyville or Newton in the Triangle, I may be wrong there. ;D
  5. WOS 7th 22 Jasper 7th 0- Final WOS 9th 34 Jasper 9th 8- Final
  6. Here is his stats for passing for each game: Houston Davis 8-12 96 yards 1 TD ( he only played the first half ) Diboll 15-31 338 yards 3 TD's 2 INT's Lumberton 23-36 271 yards 2 TD's 1 INT OK I just remembered a sub 100yd game.
  7. 705... that's like 234 yds passing per game. You sure about that AAW?
  8. WOS went to Memorial last year and played their "A" team and beat them 36-6. Our 9th grade also played their 9th "A" team and won 30-6. We ain't skeered of no 5A... You ain't gotta be scared to take this whipping you got comming!!!!! This ain't last year and our kids have a whole different mentality now. We're gonna try and put 50 pts on the the board. O and tell me what you think of our jv qb. when he's done running around the hook, he's smooth as silk with a cannon for an arm. 8) I wish I had a dime for everytime I've heard this. Your kids do it on the field, you'll get my props the next day. Until then, you're just a 5A JV team that got beat 36-6 by 3A JV team last year... ;D Your point is well taken gas. We've gotta prove on the field, and i promise we will, i was their last year, but a that was the this is now that was a program in disarray, without leadership, now we have the tools in place. Well i guess I'll see you in 3 weeks.
  9. Gotcha, they run a "Stack". I haven't seen that offense since I was in little league. Don't think I've ever seen a highschool team run it. Should be interesting. Dang, with double tight ends no less... I bet they don't do much passing, do they? LOL
  10. A tropical storm and Hurricane Rita are what has kept WOS from going to Newton... has nothing to do with "want".
  11. Freakin awesome! I get to do some scouting!!! Gotta love Fox 4!

  13. they don't call it the Triple I for nothing. I heard someone else call it that, but I have never heard of it refered to this way before. Do they run some sort of "hybrid" off of the "Power I"? Now, I've heard of the "Triple Option" or "Wishbone" for short where you have a Fullback and 2- Tailbacks. In this offense, the QB has 3 options (thus "triple option") where he can hand off to the dive back (Fullback) or run the option where he either keeps and turns up the field or options off to the other Tailback. See below, which one looks like Jasper. O O or O O O O O O OOOOOO OOOOOO

  15. This has got to be a mom and dad tag team...
  16. How can a team be 5-0 when, per the UIL, you cannot play a game until week zero... :-\
  17. The 7th grade team is LOADED and there's 55 kids on that team! :o
  18. Coop, are Haynes and Franks the only seniors? No Admin, to anwser your question: Defense Seniors- Haynes, Franks, Nelson, Rubin, Cook, Arnold (Rubin has been hurt all but 1 game and his replacements are Sophomores) Offense Seniors- Franks, Francis, Jordan (Haynes plays quite a bit, but does not start) Anyway, this year is the year... the time is now. Those defensive seniors will hurt when they are gone. thks, I was under the impression that all the starters were underclassman besides Franks and Haynes. I know the soph/jv teams are loaded and was wondering where those guys were going to play next year with all positions taken. Don't get me wrong, there are about 8 underclassmen on defense getting significant playing time in rotation and about 9 on offense. We should be good for the next few years, but the seniors we have right now are some players and they will hurt when they are gone.
  19. Gilmer had to replace it's offensive line and recievers. The replacements have struggled a bit, but are capable. The O-line has had some trouble protecting Godfrey. The WR's have good hands, but are not as fast as years past. This is not much of a weakness and something that can be lined out, but it's weakness enough that they are not bullet proof. However, right now, we are no where close to being at that level. We need to take care of our business and let the chips fall where they may. We need to play well against Jasper first.

  21. He is a big boy... he is on his own.
  22. I agree we need to get our playmakers the ball out in space. I thought skipper was questioning how well Franks played. I thought his effort was much better this week.
