How about that... Something we agree on... ;D Nice Grad, I agree with you completely. We need leaders on the offensive side of the ball and they guys who are supposed to be doing it, aren't. That is the first thing that needs fixing, then, like someone else mentioned, the rest will take care of itself.

I have been saying for the last 2 weeks that I feel we are overrated right now. And as I've said, luckily, right now doesn't matter. As someone said earlier, very few teams that win the title do it with undefeated records. We are definitely not going to fold it up after a close win and a loss to good, proven programs like Jasper and kirbyville. We will only get better from playing them. The last few years we have played great early in the season and everyone here thought we were awesome. Then, we fizzle out late against teams no better than the ones we beat early on. Maybe this is something that needs to happen, but then again, maybe we will lose to OF and HJ and miss the playoffs. There are no guarantees in this game, but one thing is for sure. The season is still young, we have 2 weeks to work on things and we have one of the best coaching staffs in the state working their butts off to get all of this talent heading in the right direction. I like our chances.

I'm trying to figure out why a couple of PNG fans are over here trying their best to discredit what LCM has done. You can try to reason why they are not good all you want, but it's not going to help the Indians next week. I saw Cleveland play last year and they returned that team in tact. Looking at both schedules, LCM has played the toughest, don't matter if they are 3A teams or not. WOS and Cleveland are better than anyone PNG has played.

I hope WOS irons out there problems, and they do have some problems that are not Jasper and Kirbyville related. WELL SAID!! The problems I'm talking about are not the same ones you are.

Everyone kind of wants to see the things that more favor them... We WOS fans want to see it as something that can be improved upon due to lack of execution, Jasper and Kirbyville fans want to see it as superior play by their defenses and others want to see it that way to because it gives them a little confidence that they will also take the Stangs down when they are on the field. The truth is somewhere in between. It has a lot to do with excellent defensive play by Jasper and Kirbyville and also has some to do with a lack of execution on the part of WOS. Either way, this game is over and it's time to move on. I hope Kirbyville and Jasper both go far this year. I honestly feel that both will. Some of these teams fans seem to be searching here for respect, but those who really know these programs gave them respect before these games were even played. You can't put so much into what some rabid fans say and you can't think that everyone in that community feels the same way these few posters do. I guarantee that no WOS player or coach doubted what these teams were capable of and don't hate the program because of this website. My objective observation is that baddog is a spiteful "teenager like" adult who is still pissing and moaning over an assessment made about his team 3 weeks ago. That he will scout threads that don't even concern his team because the stinger of reality is painfully evident that the assessment was accurate after each time his team plays. I also know that he spends much time trying to come up with his quirky little posts to make himself seem like something other than what he REALLY is, but his underlying tone is embarassingly evident and he doesn't even realize it. I think he TRULY feels he is speaking for all of Bulldog fans in his posts, but in reality, most Bulldog fans wish he would just shut the heck up. He repeatedly accuses me of whining, homerism, and denouncing other teams, but has yet to provide any proof of his accusations (because they don't exist). How is that? I can come up with more if I need to, I just thought I would go easy to start and bring in the really hard stuff as back up... I think that is a pretty fair assessment. I speak for myself and no one else. You like to rally the troops with fewer than 5 posts. You were also the one who went to the Nederland board and copy/pasted a thread where they were discussing the loss to WOS. You called them whiners and posted it on your board. How childish is that? It was Ned fans running down our coach. Now, how "childish" is THAT??? I've never seen anything like that on any other boards where fans go and talk $hit on a coach like that. So heck yeah, I posted it on our board for coach and everyone to see BEFORE the game was even played. Nothing like a little bulletin board material. Could you imagine the public out cry had someone from WOS done that about Neuman? Congratulations Dogs! I think you have yourself a good team there and I really like how your new coach game plans. We come out expecting the Stacked I and he runs the spread. I thought Jasper was very physical and quick. Has good size and just all around good football team. WOS has got to re-group now and get some problems worked out. ...and most of the people who usually pick WOS to win are not usually WOS people. However, when you have won every district game you've played since 2004 and have a talented team coming back, who wouldn't pick you to win it? I think that is kind of silly saying that it's "annoying" because people pick them. As for WOS being overrated, probably are right now. I do not think we are the 3rd best team in the state. Good thing "right now" doesn't matter. I will say this and I say it with the most objectove outlook I can. I truly feel that WOS will bring a state title back to this area before any other team in the triangle does. It's not a matter of if, but when. Now, if you include Kirbyville or Newton in the Triangle, I may be wrong there. ;D

WOS went to Memorial last year and played their "A" team and beat them 36-6. Our 9th grade also played their 9th "A" team and won 30-6. We ain't skeered of no 5A... You ain't gotta be scared to take this whipping you got comming!!!!! This ain't last year and our kids have a whole different mentality now. We're gonna try and put 50 pts on the the board. O and tell me what you think of our jv qb. when he's done running around the hook, he's smooth as silk with a cannon for an arm. 8) I wish I had a dime for everytime I've heard this. Gotcha, they run a "Stack". I haven't seen that offense since I was in little league. Don't think I've ever seen a highschool team run it. Should be interesting. Dang, with double tight ends no less... I bet they don't do much passing, do they? LOL

they don't call it the Triple I for nothing. I heard someone else call it that, but I have never heard of it refered to this way before. Do they run some sort of "hybrid" off of the "Power I"? Now, I've heard of the "Triple Option" or "Wishbone" for short where you have a Fullback and 2- Tailbacks. In this offense, the QB has 3 options (thus "triple option") where he can hand off to the dive back (Fullback) or run the option where he either keeps and turns up the field or options off to the other Tailback. See below, which one looks like Jasper. O O or O O O O O O OOOOOO OOOOOO
