Stangs have improved since week 3. Heck, Stangs have improved since the beginning of the playoffs. The passing game has really come on the last couple games. Dugas looks very comfortable throwing it and we're catching it. This could be a different game than the one in week 3. We still havent played a complete game. Happy with the win last night but we have to acknowledge the fact that we had 4 turnovers and they converted 3 of those into points. We also had some defensive breakdowns, too. We clean that up and there's no telling how good we can be.

No such thing as reporting in HS. Pass had to be a lateral (backwards) to be legal and wasn't. Illegal touching comes with a loss of down. Because it was 4th down, game over and WOS advances. Good to be playing in December.

I may not see all of the posts because I'm not on that much so you maybe right. I try and be as objective as I can. Sometimes I probably come off negative. I NEVER pull for our kids to lose. But I know there are those in our community who do. I also know what goes on in the program and I'm pretty sure you know that. The same effort needs to be given before the results happen. That's not happening and people know it. That's a problem and will be until something changes. That's not a complaint by me. It's reality.

I believe that there are some who want the team to fail so Hick fails. I don't think those people are on this board. But, to your second point. Winning in the playoffs IS NOT enough... the bar is higher than that. No its not always achieved, but IT IS where the bar is set in this community. People don't have to like it, but it is what it is. McCurdy will be the best QB we've seen this year. He has the mobility combined with accuracy. We've seen a couple decent QBs but none like this one. This is going to be a tough task. We'll have to pressure him and make the tackles when we get to him. He's going to get his yards, we just have to try and keep them from killing us. On defense they're most certainly going to keep all 11 around the LOS. With our lack of a passing game they'd be crazy not to. Just have to hope the big guys up from can create enough creases and for #4 to have another super human night.

Mustang Way, no Mustang Way... 50, no 50... say what you want. If we don't bring pressure off the edge (or at least some pressure) Friday, Robinson will beat us like we stole something. The lack of discipline was stifling on both sides. I bet WOS had 100 yards in penalties. 4 penalties inside their own 10 2 of which wiped out long Jefferson runs then a lost fumble to end the quagmire at their own 5. It's quite ridiculous. Luckily, we have talent and were able to fumble and bumble our way to a win.

Silsbee can beat them. Stop #0 and control the pass and they have a real shot. The LV defense isn't great. WOS went backwards from mid-season until Friday. We don't improve and are really not very good. We were better earlier in the season. LV is beatable.

The only reason they were slowed is because they shot themselves in the foot with penalties.
