Cause they were more talented than all those opponents…if they weren’t poorly coached the games against Argyle & PNG wouldn’t have been close as they shouldn’t have been. But I’m talking to ppl who are clueless.

It’s called recruiting my man…look at DV before Samples got there and look now. Look at what happened to Skyline once Samples left…you think it’s a coincidence that players tend to just magically show up wherever Samples coaches? Lol And guess who Todd coached & played for? It’s not rocket science

They called me crazy for saying this last night…but I’m debating with ppl who really don’t know the game, doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that these ppl are relying solely off talent and are poorly coached

Not sure what game you watched but ok…SOC got D1’s all over the field PNG was clearly outmatched at literally every position…coaching or a lack there of kept this game close. PNG two TD’s came from SOC mistakes (blown coverage & a misalignment to PNG’s formation on the run play) but I forgot y’all only see football from a surface level.

Very much so retired with thriving businesses…not sure what this has to do with your lack of knowledge though it’s ok to be a fan and not know the diff between good/bad coaching, schemes etc etc

Please do…just be a fan you have no clue about football like most others on here.

I get that you don’t understand football at high level bro but I do…I pay attention to things like schematics (which I’m sure you have clue about) SOC scheme is rudimentary & they’re poorly coached on both sides of the ball. PNG’s success in the run game came because SOC wasn’t lined up correctly to their formations…luckily they have better athletes & no NS isn’t the only team that’s well coached but you’ll see the diff tomorrow.

Game honestly shouldn’t be close PNG outmatched at every position but props to PNG for being able to keep it close due to SOC being so poorly coached

You obviously haven’t watched DV so I won’t waste my time lol

Tiger you have to pay attention more, the first year we played DV we were on our way to blowing the game open but the refs (Shady Grady & crew) prevented that from happening, don't believe me just go back and check the penalty count if I remember right it was 12 NS penalties to 1 for DV which is laughable. The second year DV's QB Jaquiden Jackson did get hurt however we were without the #1 RB in the country Zach Evans and Shadrach Banks who was an All-American WR. The third year we beat them with a FRESHMAN at Quarterback...so please spare me the excuses. As far as Durham he's a helluva back, however if you've watched DV they're very one dimensional and their passing game is nonexistent. Also if you've paid attention to NS this year, NO ONE has had success running the ball against (only giving up 47 yards rushing a game). Good luck trying to beat NS being one-dimensional. With that said this could def be a trap game for NS coming off a huge emotional revenge game over Westlake, if they come into the game with a lack of focus or over confident that's the only possible way I could see NS losing this game.

For those of you who are commenting...it's clear you haven't watched either team. For one if Bailey was playing for NS this game would be a blow out, for two DV is one dimensional and NS only gives up 47 yards rushing a game. For three, seeing that NS has a WR at QB this game should heavily favor DV...however DV relies solely on out athleting you and is poorly coached hence why NS has won state titles against them with lesser talented teams.

Don’t get any better than these types of matchups…grateful to have been able to coach in the last meeting but I think this game comes down to NS’s offense! If the offense can put up 21-28 points NS wins this one. No matter what though the winner of this game wins state!

When did PNG get this good? Where the hell have I been? Lol congrats great way to represent SETX! Anyone knows when the last time a team from the golden triangle won a state championship in football?
