This one is a real head scratcher. Mustangs are building a new state of the art basketball facility and they got some really good players coming back. Which one is your nephew, Jack? WOS was playing some really good ball at the end of the year. I thought they gave Huffman a better game than anyone not named Argyle in the playoffs. What was their final record last year?

Those three guys mentioned have really good resumes. Who's the best basketball coach of the three? I'm talking about Saveat, Travis, and Walter Yates...let's not make this about Mitchell! Two of those guys should be able to keep the Beaumont connections open. Next question is who is transferring? Back to United or maybe West Brook? East Chambers has some cap space available I hear.

Two of those guys are in a different stratosphere than the other and the offers they have back that up. Some odd decisions on this list, but what do you expect? I'll bet the Enterprise guys didn't play a whole lot of basketball growing up and I'll also bet they didn't see the majority of the teams in the area. Deweyville kid on the same team as Wesley Yates is ludicrous. Mitchell over Green, Sutherland, Barrett, Sigler, Rideaux, etc is silly too.

What in God's green Earth is this supposed to say? This is incoherent to me. I think that the ineligible transfer kid's dad should take this job and lead them to glory. Revenge tour 2021!

Man what a game! Arceneaux playing the hero!

That was a hard foul by the Huffman kid and it resulted in an injury. Normal game has two or three of those and nobody gets hurt. I don't think there was intent to harm, but its hard to ignore how tough Miller is for getting up and playing it out.

Somebody seems to be fishing for compliments. Green, Barrett, Todd Sutherland, and Sigler are all wayyyyy more deserving than Mitchell. Lumberton did win the district, but they also had the only division one player in the district and he's more responsible than anything. And you can put a monster asterisk next to that championship because that aint happening if Covid didn't wipe Silsbee out. Playoffs showed what would have happened if they played again. I like TXHoops player list. Spot on.

Huffman's program will keep on winning. Coach Barrett has that thing rolling and they have several good ones coming back. I agree with you on Lumberton. Great, great season, but I think the Lamar kid carried them. I expected a great game with them and Huffman and I hate that the Raiders laid an egg. I have no idea what their plan on defense was. Maybe it was just a bad night, but it's hard to be optimistic because it was a REALLY bad night.

I was very impressed with Silsbee last night. Especially Miller. He carried that team yesterday. Coach Sig deserves to be district coach of the year, regional coach of the year, and state coach of the year for what he's done with all these young guns. They are going to be a nightmare to deal with for a long time.
