Sounds like it was a great game! Hardin has been playing pretty well. My cousin transferred fro HD and is playing for Hardin,  wish I could've watched this one

The game was scheduled to start at 6:30, but due to the new lights having their wires stripped for copper they started around 545. The game was called due to lack of light

Exactly what I thought....when you are a big private school that can recruit you are expected to win.

I know my senior year ('04-...'03 football season) san augustine (D1) and Garrison (D2) both won state from the same district. and the 3rd team from their district, Timpson, who beat us in first round made it to the quarterfinals before getting beat out by Garrison....talk about a tough district. Not sure if they were 21-2a or what...had alto and hemphill in their district as well.

I went to the game Friday night and would love to go this Saturday, but the Big 12 championship game happens to be in the same time frame. Keep winning broncos and I'll be there. Broncos playoff games are exciting and the fans are loud! Dayton just knows how to win. Good luck broncos!

Helluva a game to watch! I got there halfway through the first at Dayton was down 13-0, they played great ball the whole time I was there. On that 4th and inches I was saying "let ploch qb sneak for a yard and run the clock down" but the coach knows his team and has confidence in his kicker and defense! Great game guys!

What time does this game start?

The coaches can't change their minds, they vote after district is over and before playoffs. But they may not want to distract the kids by telling them they were/weren't selected. Just my thinking.

Don't think you can vote for your team, nominate yes. Obviously coaches voted for other teams' players cuz you need multiple votes to be awarded. I was told by a player that h-d lost votes last year for "running up" the scores

The stands were pretty empty, but there were a lot of people standing along side the fence. I think the daisetta faithful is getting smaller and smaller every year. But you figure with it being such a big rivalry and so much on the line it would be more packed than any other game.
