The Noo’s are not as competitive as they always have been. I do not see them making the playoffs this year.

I know two players who made 1st team were Sophomores from Nederland. They deserve to be 1st team.

This was a very tough district. Great athletes all-around. I would not of wanted to be the coaches making these picks.

Can we get an update on who all got All-District Honors for 4A-6A?

Found out that Nederland coach PP the game not because of COVID but one of their good players twisted her ankle. Said that player had Covid but really doesn't. The coach just wants her to heal up so that she can play in the PNG game. Little Shady if you ask me.

PNG should have never played Tuesday. They should of done what United did. Shame on PNG.

I wonder why PNG played last night.

What team has Covid? I'm assuming that's why they cancelled.

PNG does have a new coach and is in a district with new teams (United, Crosby & GP) along with Barber's Hill, Nederland and Memorial. This District is stiff competition compared to the last three years when your daughter played. HJ is at another level. As a parent who has a daughter that plays at PNG, I would not say that it was an embarrassment. HJ has scored over 100 points against their opponents, not just PNG. PNG still has great talent but I do not see them making the playoffs due to much better teams in the district now. Hardin Jefferson Good Luck to you and I hope you Win State this year.

Nederland has Ava Wiltz, Sidney Nelson and Maggie Baker who are Freshman and are assets to their team. I think Nederland will be battling for third with Port Neches. Even though Port Neches is losing their top scorers, I have seen their JV team play. You will have those girls moving up. Plus Port Neches has one Freshman on Varsity now...right? I think it will be a Mid County Battle for third and fourth place.

Now that we are almost getting closer to the playoffs, who are some girls that have made some huge impressions in these two districts? Who are some of the up and coming underclassmen in our area?
