Nederland’s offense will be much better with him this year and in the years to come. 3A to 5A is a big jump, but Brady will be prepared for it. Nederland fans are going to enjoy watching him play

Anahuac had sure touchdowns dialed up a few times that would’ve changed the game. They just didn’t execute. Dropped passes, bad throws, and penalties at key points killed em.

Congrats to Coach Williams on his retirement. The move definitely not health related. Probably has more to do with the fact that Evadale has increasingly become a difficult place to work in recent years

Great post. It gets old hearing people say Coach Jones is not a football coach. The man knows football and coaches his kids hard. Works his kids hard at practice and puts them through a tougher weight training program than probably anyone in the area. Yes most of his success as a head coach has been in baseball, that does not mean he isn’t a good football coach.

Even as a person who has disliked West Hardin for a very long time, this is sad to hear about. I also can't believe that I agree with something that oldschool said. Not many kids are going to be excited to play a full season of games that don't really mean anything. Hate it for the kids over there

Don't remember the exact score but Kirbyville won. Score was like 45 to 30 or something close to that.

I think it'll be a good game. If Kirbyville plays all 4 quarters like they did the second half against Anahuac they should win.

Didn’t look like play calling was the big issue last week, just played a much better team. Will definitely have to do a better job of scoring this week though.
