I do want to say I use the word "dominated" loosely, Hardin still has tons to work on and Kelly was no slouch and is loaded with talent and should have a great year. So "looked better" might have been a better choice of words.

Considering that Kelly's 1st team sat out most of the scrimmage , I thought it was not that bad of a game. Hardin has some talent, they need to work on their passing game - as does Kelly.

Kelly's 1st 15 plays had their 1st team Offense in when they made the touchdown and 2 point conversion. Kelly's OL is young and is going to have to step up to protect their QB and backs. Towards the end of the scrimmage you could tell they were lacking on the line.  I hope Middleton can get them to step up to do their job.

The passing games were off today on both sides . Kelly has a young O Line and it looks like they will have to step up to help out their QB and RB(s). Kelly's Defense did not look bad considering they kept taking their 1st D out . It looked like their 2nd & 3rd teams got a lot of play time.

Well I really dont understand why there are HF people on this site trying to stir up rumors about MASS EXODUS by players, like they are trying to say something is wrong with the program, but I did go to the game and according to the roster I have in front of me there are 22 seniors out of 32 players on this roster. So unless there was 44 seniors I can't see half missing. But defensively they looked decent, offensively they looked like many of those GOOD JV'ers were on the offensive line because they were totally outmanned all night. But I believe they will still be a playoff team in 21AAA, write it down. Lumberton in AAAA in am not as sure?

I never said I was from HF are trying to stir up rumors..... I was asking a question ! I hate to hear that HF has a lot of injuries and a majority of the players are having to play both offense and defense. Thank you for the input HFplaya !

Nederland and PNG always have great teams! The Nederland and PNG fans are passionate about their teams and have support for them win or lose!

I did not attend school at Nederland or PNG , but I have always been impressed by the loyal following their teams have!

I understand that there is a difference between JV ball and varsity ball. There are several juniors from last years varsity team did not return to play their senior year. The sophmores, who made up the majority of the JV team last year, did not return to play this year(varisity or jv)........ Why?

I thought HF was going to have an awesome team this year......... What happened? It's my understanding that half of last years juniors are not playing this year and the Horns had an impressive JV team last year ! The JV only lost one game and that was to Jasper. They beat WOS's JV. WHERE are those sophmores from last year ? When you look at the horn's roster, you do not see half the names that was on their roster. Why did they quit or leave HF?

It doesn't mean your varsity is gonna kick every ones butts just because they had a 10-0 jv, look at bridge city two years ago there jv went 9-1 and they got up to varsity and they got stomped in every game that season and went 0-10, so your jv can mean nothing its if they can make it happen on the Field and who knows they might be able to so ill leave it at that.

I think you are missing the point..................... Why did half of the returning varsity players quit and half of the sophmores quit ? Look at their roster and compare it to last years.........

Wow ! If Kelly could recruit, then they might increase their enrollment! It's nothing against Vidor ! They had a great game....  It's my understanding that most of the students who attend Kelly went to Catholic Jr highs. Who are the one's who were recruited ?

HF 8th grade's team have size and speed...... They are going to have another great season !

Well maybe I can explain it better............. Vidor High School has around 1400 students and Kelly has around 400 students. If the enrollment/number of students did not matter, then why would we have different classifications ?

Considering Vidor High School's enrollment is almost triple that of Kelly's, it was a good game. Kelly has a few injured players and for a school that size, it really hurts when players are injured ! I hope the dawgs will have all of the injured players back in play in time for their district games!
