This is not correct 2019 they missed the playoffs year 2020 they went two rounds deep and lost to #4 coldsprings (I think) 2021 they missed the playoffs

Any 3 of those guys could win MVP but only 2 of them could win Offensive MVP in my opinion

All 3 are deserving of that award i personally think it should come down to sells and pete they have both been remarkable all year long

Go do your HW…. he took over that program in 99 i belive and 01-02 took them to the regional tournament right before he left for Kountze

Joubert got it turned around before he came to Kountze I remember In like 2008 they were decent and made a few playoff appearances from 2009-2015 (they knocked my son out of playoff contention one of those years )

Will be a tough task but they can still get in. I think running off whitmire was the biggest mistake they could have ever made for that basketball program.

BIG week for a few teams this week. OF going to Anahuac and to Kountze with second place finish on the line. Buna going to Anahuac and to EC i believe they have to win at least one of these to keep their playoff hopes alive Kountze going to kirbyville and gets OF at home with a slip up to kirbyville can put buna right back in the hunt

I think people need to understand that this team for kountze is 6 sophomores 2 juniors 1 freshmen the only kid with real varsity experience is Sells. the big Warren kid played about 7 mins a game last year. also the 4 teams they are battling with all have at least 6 seniors on the team. ( i still think kountze sneaks in the playoffs ) This is where the lack of consistency comes from. A year from now the district is in trouble , and 2 years from now the entire state may be in trouble at the 3a level.
