I predict that the game will be over early and that less than 5 passes are thrown in the game. I'm really going out on a limb here.

So is this kid going to be able to play this year?

I agree as well, a great hire. Those who say that as a GA he didnt do much haven't been around a D-1 program on a daily basis. They are the first ones to get there and the last ones to leave.

I don't think it helps you at all. They are setting themselves up to be a little overconfident going into district.

That picture says a lot about it. The new guy will get to bring in a bunch if he wants. Good situation for him. He will not have to do as well his first year either due to the lateness of his hiring.

It is money well spent. Turf is cost effective over the long run. If you got it you might as well spend it. It will be good for the kids in the long run.

Unless there is a rule change in UIL this year it is not legal in Texas yet.

I just want to know if Burke does get the job if they go undefeated in non-district will they get rings? That would be like getting rings for an undefeated junior high season. Oops to late.

I saw him the other night and he told me that was happening. I did not really believe him. This actually makes it sound more possible to me. I wish the kid the best of luck. He is definitely the most talented high school kid that I have ever seen. If he can get his head together and do things right I think that he could change his families life forever.

I heard that there are going to be some coaches interviewed this week for the job. Anybody else heard anything like that?

BT is in no rush this week or last week. He went to the final four last week and is tied up with the Masters this week. He will probably get back on it next week.

With the job only being open for ten days (I believe that is the minimum that they can do) they already have their finalist chosen. And they know that who they are looking at is interested as well. The new head coach will be in place by the end of the school year. Heck he is going to have to resign from his job at the high school he is at now in time for them to find a new coach.
