They're probably watching and concentrating on where the news casts are looking...the high rises in downtown Houston that has curtains and blinds flapping in the wind.  I got the same information.  Also, I asked the woman I spoke with about hotel assistance and she said that there were no programs currently in place.  Asked how to find out about them when/if they came into place and she stated to call the fema number again.  Also, she suggested watching the news, but still calling to see if there was truth to it or if it was a rumor.  You have to live outside of the US and go through a disaster to get immediate relief from the US.

Plus, by the time you go through the whole insurance thing, Hurricane season of 2010 (if you are lucky) or 2011 (most probable) will be in full effect.  Where is the headquarters for fema?  We could all go up there when we run out of money and camp out at their offices. :

Anyone know anything about Roselawn (Orange area)?  I've heard conflicting reports about the state of WO-S High School.  How about the houses on Newton (across the street from the high school)?

He does have 2 children, but lets not drag them in to this.

noone is "dragging" them into anyone...i asked a simple question.  Please do not read more into my post than a simple question.  Actually, as a head football coach, he has many more than two...he just needs to figure out how to be a positive example to ALL of them.

  More importantly, this is not the message that a leader wants to send to his kids.  Look at last year's game, WO-S was supposed to totally dominate the game, but the result was a last minutes TD for the Mustangs to win the game.

this game is about bragging rights between high schools and their kids.  So many of these kids know one another from every aspect of the game. For a cowardly, under-moraled wannabe coach to just decide not to play...surely something can be done.  How happy is he to be the head coach...is he trying to NOT have his contract renewed.  Can LCM "buy" him out of his contract?  I did hear a nasty rumor about something of that nature happening at BC with their baseball coach.

I hadn't even thought about the financial impact.  Sad, sad example of what a coach shouldn't be.
