1. Even though this is a big game this up coming weekend, I still have to take WOS to go undefeated in the regular season
 2. when are the playoff brackets going to be posted?
 3.
The coaching staff if they lose a game. ;D I kid I kid ;D WOS has an excellent winning tradition plus have great coaches and players. They will continue to have success for years to come.
:o :D
 4.
A WO-S 8th grader had a leg injury in the game tonight and just found out he has a broken femur.  Probably have to have surgery in the morning.  Prayers to this young man on a speedy recovery!
I will be praying for him and his family.  That is one of my worst nightmares (as a mom) for my son.
 5. with this being my son's last year as a Lil Mustang, I am going to pray for WOS to be SuperBowl Champions!  He was on the SuperBowl - Junior team that won his first year of playing and now I think it would be pretty cool if his team won again during his last year!  Just a really, really proud mom talking here!  ;)
 6.
Kountze 32 BC 54 #23 of BC is a animal on offense, but BC defense is not that great. KTZ scored all of their points in the 1st half and after that, BC got 4 onside kicks and thats what won the game! Great game BC and really hope we get to see yall again!!
wow, that was a high scoring game too.  I love those.  Not a blow out; not a boring game; just a really good game.  :)
 7. I hope you all pardon this reply.  I know everyone is looking for scores.  I have not been "on top" of the coaches names this year so please excuse me.  I just want to make a statement right now about the Head Coach of my son's team (WOS Senior).  He got upset about a particular play this past weekend.  I could tell he was frustrated and my stomach kinda went into knots thinking he was about to start yelling at the boys.  Instead, he walked away from the players, looked away from the field, composed himself and went back to the players and did not once raise his voice.  He did tell them what they did wrong but the manner he did it in, I was very impressed!!!!! Just had to say that.  Thank you.
 8.
Pa seniors game against WOS was by far the best game this year.  WOS will not be tested this year by any other team in this league.  #25 for PA Elijah is just as good as #4 for WOS he scored 5 times and at least as many yards as #4.  This is PA first year in the league and we gave the best team this year a run for its money.  PA will not loose another game this season but in closing if you weren't at that game you missed a great one. Both teams were great.
I agree: if you weren't there you missed a GREAT game!  It felt like it was more like a high school game instead of a little league (is that the right word?) one.
 9. That was a game to remember!  I bit what little bit of fingernails I have completely off!  My voice is gone!  :D
 10.
56 wos 50 pa..great game..refs sucked and who ever ran the clock was horrible. .great job to our boys. .they gave 112%..
that was one physical game!  I agree, the refs sucked and the clock keeper was even worse.  When I can see face mask from the other side of the field and the ref who was right there did not say anything .. among other things things just didn't make sense ..  there is something wrong.  What was the deal with the score changing every 2 seconds?  That last 30 seconds of the game lasted 5 dang minutes .. that clock never did start when it should have. Awesome game guys.  I knew it was going to be a good game, just didn't expect it to be such a nail biter :)
 11.
Wos wins from flag to senior this week. .WE READY!!
I LOVE your spirit!  Looking forward to a good weekend of football.  First the Mustangs tonight.  Lil Mustangs tomorrow.  Ending the weekend with the Cowboys vs 49ers.  Now THAT will be an awkward game at my house.  Hubbie a born and raised 49er fan.  I am a born and raised Cowboys fan.  Looking forward to all games!
i don't know about 4 touchdowns but I do agree that WOS will win. BTW: can someone tell me WHERE the games are at in PA?  Its not on the STJFL website.  I'm sure we will find out at the practice; however, I would like to know ahead of time. Thanks! Queenie
FYI all of WO-S game locations are also on the Lil Mustangs website.
Didn't see it.  I guess I was enjoying looking at the pics of the games that were posted!  Thanks everyone!  I have printed out the directions and will hand them to hubbie.
I will definitely work on some new material hahahahaha and as far as rain goes, as long as it waits till all the games are done im fine with that ;D
from what I just heard on the weather forecast, looks like you and the others will have a nice day at HOME!
 15.
After watching the lcm and wos sr game...which i think had the two best players in the stjfl in it( 4wos and 78 lcm). I dont see anybody stopping #4 from wos. I believe wos wins it all!
I agree with the jersey number (78); just wrong team!  ;)
 16.
It is most times more difficult to be the better, bigger person. Hang in there! And by the way I saw some of the games Saturday and IMO it is way too hot for these young men to be playing mid-day in 100 plus heat, the games need to be early and late, just my opinion.
Thanks.  My son played at 6 p.m. and it was STILL very hot out.  I do have to say though I did see/hear many water breaks being called so there is no complaint about the way that was handled.  We can't control the heat and I really do think that the coaches did the very best they could have to keep the kids hydrated and safe.  As much as I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE football .. I really was glad when it was time to go home though due to the heat.
 17.
I understand being upset..but if u have a problem with anyone you should bring it to your president. .
Naaa, no need to do that.  I can handle it if need be.  Like I said, I will just ignore her and her rude comments and keep yelling for our team and worrying about any child who gets hurts, mine, yours, hers, the opponent.  Looking forward to our next game.  Hopefully, it won't be 1000 degress outside. ;D
 18.
They're are always things said in the stand......"kill em"...", lay him out", "hurt someone"......you just have to ignore them. People are generally good and they don't mean it literally......... If your looking for drama, you can ALWAYS find it......
I agree.  I always hear fans saying stuff like that.  That is done in the heat of the game.  What has me upset is this MOM said my son deserved to be hurt.  That just was not very nice! Oh well, I will just have my eye on this person from hereon out.  Sit as far away from her as possible and if her child get hurts, I will do as I always do: worry about the child until he is up and running again.
 19. My son is the Center for WOS-Senior team.  He has been practicing very hard and takes his position very seriously.  He was penalized for a delay of game in Saturday's game because he could not hear his quarterback calling the calls.  He felt horrible for that.  A few plays later, the opposing team piled on him and one of the players kneed him in the back and it knocked the wind out of him and it took him longer then usual to get up off the ground.  He got up and went on with the game. Now, this is where I need to hold my "mama temper" and be careful what I say.  I overheard a parent in the stands (from WOS) say that he got what he deserved for causing the delay penalty. My nephew, oldest son, and brother in law also heard it and knew I had heard it too.  They immediately pulled me away before I could say something back.  They calmed me down and I went back to my seat and said nothing. Family and friends of players: We all get into the games.  If a player makes a mistake on the field, that does not give you the right to wish ill on the child.  No child deserves to be hurt.  It is just WRONG to say something like that.  I have been heard to say "That is what you get" after we make a touchdown against the other team or we make a really good play.  I have said to the players "don't let them get past you".  I have NEVER said a child who was injured deserved it. Watch yourselves and your comments.  The next time, there may not be anyone there to hold me back.
 20. The first I heard about this was on this forum.  I have read the posts and I have this to say: It appears that PA did not have their children certified as required.  The STJFL had dates and times posted well in advance.  I am sure individual team presidents knew of the date and times without having to check the STJFL website.  They are being allowed to play anyway despite not following the rules that are set out in order to participate. Certifications are in place to make sure that the players meet the age, weight, grade, and residence requirements.  If the children are not going through this process, then why were the other teams made to do it?  If one does not do it; then no one should have had to do it. Before anyone jumps on my case: I think the children should be able to play.  It's not their faults the adults messed up.  I don't know what the solution is to this mess.  My first thought was to have them certify NOW; however, games have already started.  I just hope that none of the kids get hurt while playing against the PA teams and it is found out that because they were never required to certify, the PA child was in the wrong league (not sure if that is the right word) and should have been in a higher one due to weight or age.  Or did not meet the residence requirements to play on the PA team. That is just my opinion and I'm sure I will get a lot of backlash from it.  Not trying to be mean to anyone so please, if you do comment, don't be mean to me.
