Yes I will. As for dylan, my fav is Hurricane. How times have changed. Wonder if anyone knows what he said? It was on the dazed and confused soundtrack. As were so many other classics... [Hidden Content]

It's nothing to be sad about @Gasilla. We should be thankful for having a winning tradition that's been able to accomplish that streak. -

I think it is something man made. Probably put out there for some Instagram photo shoot.

A crossover that you guys may enjoy. ZZ Top covers DJ DMD's classic "25 Lighters" I met DMD back in the late 90s. He had a record shop on gulfway in PA. Looked at us like we were crazy goin in there back then. But was actually real cool. Sold us some music and gave us some free shirts.

Not my favorite either. But just need something new to hear. Cant listen to Pantera and forever, right?
-
You got me. I'm officially an old man telling the kids to get off my lawn. Because all I heard was 13 mins of noise and robots farting (inside joke for my boy dj joe kurve)

Maybe you'd like Struggle Jennings, waylon's grandson. But I'd consider it more country rap.

That's a good one. Lil bit of info I got from an old hippie... the album is a religious sermon. I've never been able to wrap my brain around it. I think he knew something that was lost in translation from the 60s. Good luck with the guitar. It's a great distraction. I have an electric drum set, which is great for not disturbing the peace. Put on headphones and slip into another reality. I've been trying to build my chops back after years of not playing. Use it or lose it... I almost lost it.

Definitely. I looked it up again today and watched the austin city limits version. I try to watch it on PBS as much as possible. Also check out the big interview with dan rather on axs tv. [Hidden Content]

Just listened to Riviera Paradise for first time. You guitar guys should check out Joe Bonamassa. He was in the diabetes commercial with BB King when he was a kid. There's also a young band named Greta Van Fleet, they sound alot like led Zeppelin.

I absolutely cant stand Jagger's voice. Same thing with ac/dc

If anyone is on pandora, there is a feature to share playlists. Hit me up and maybe I'll share. Also this would be a great place to post new music for others to hear. Just not sure how "forum rules" would apply to explicit lyrics or other references that could be deemed offensive. @WOSgrad???

Dont get me wrong, I like the beatles, just cant listen to them anymore. The Grateful Dead isn't for me, and I dont recall Howlin Wolf. UGK is actually from Port Arthur. Most of there music was mid 90s til like 2010 when Pimp C passed. But his brother Bun B still holds it down.
-
Now were talking. Great idea. I can agree with half of your list. My ex ruined most of the beatles for me, but Ringo changed drumming forever and that has to be worth something. I can't narrow all the music I listen to down to 10 bands. So I'll focus on a few different genres... Rap... UGK, Scarface, Eminem, 2pac, Bone Thugs. And I'm also a screw head Classic rock... Led Zeppelin, Clapton, ZZ Top, Hendrix, Blind Faith (only one album but it is deep, check it out if you haven't heard it) Modern rock... 311, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Weezer, Pearl Jam Country... Willie Nelson, Randy Travis, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band Yea I know it's kinda all over the place. I've been listening to Phil Collins tonight at work. Just depends on the mood and the atmosphere.

My neighbors used to blare polka music in their backyard. And John Candy playin a clarinet in the back of a uhaul always make me laugh.

Out on the road today I saw a Deadhead sticker on a Cadillac A little voice inside my head said “Don't look back, you can never look back”

I agree. They always claim Maynard is genius, personally I'm not sure. But Danny Carey is one of the best drummers in the world. I knew that song had words, just never really felt it before. Thanks bro

Imo, @Kountzer was trying to tell us that both sides are working together to destroy everything. Not just the democracy and our country, but our religion and the way of life. It's been under attack for some time. Divide and conquer, with alot of distractions. Like a magician getting your attention away from the real trick. Poof... and it's gone. Make sure you have your house in order for the end is approaching. Getting closer by the second.
