I think they've had enough time to finish up everything out there. But i have not been that way in a while. I do know they will consider approval of selling the event center naming rights at tomorrow's meeting. I'd like to see a name on the home teams broadcast booth. Honoring an local ledgendary broadcaster that recently retired from radio. I'd bet Gary Stelly along with John Kimbro have been up there more that some of our OCs. Would be a great tip of the cap to KOGT for what they've done for OC sports over the years.

Oddly enough. I'd have to say, you are correct sir. The really scary part is that if we take steps in the right direction. We could be really dangerous on both sides of the ball. Dont forget those Sophomore 1st teamers will be seniors now. They weren't resting on their laurels in the off season.

Looking thru the pictures. I realize I knew him better than I thought. That old red Fairlane (I think) that he always talked about racing and going to the pig stand. He was so proud of his marine/priest son and the grandkids. After only 3 dates, 55 years with his wife... WOW!!! He told me he told her he'd see her 5 months. Just couldn't wait any longer. As an outside Jasper fan for all but 1 game of the season. I expect more improvement than last year. Got a solid base established and plenty of time to coach up the kids in the off season. Gonna be another classic rivalry game down here on Oct 20.

Coach Waggoner will have his team prepared for every game as usual. Week 1 @ Lumberton will be a great test for the Longhorns. D'onte Zeno, 2nd Team All State Offensive ALL-PURPOSE, is back to make the most of his senior year. His athletic abilities are amazing but I'm not sure where he's going to line up. Wherever that is, he'll definitely demand attention from the opposing defense.
