from what i understand moody was giving the choice of homefield and ha denied it and NDNs by AT LEAST 3 TDs :

PNGs D line may be young but that new coach is supposed to be good look what he did with last years D, and the O-line is experienced

i put in the paperwork to coach and never got called, like i said "I" had to call to find out he was a alternate. Hes hurt because he played starting defense last year and thought he would be on  a team again. i was one of the first people in line the first day of registration cuase i know sometimes their is a waiting list esp with Jr tackle football.The main thing that really irritates me is a kid that registered 2 week after my son is on a team, the guy i talked to said they had no way to tell who registerd first. From what i understand is the league is in kaos and alot of people from the board last year quit.

My son got screwed been playing for 4 years and had to call the other day to find out my son is an alternate, called to get my $210.00 back. Does anybody know of the other MC pop warner team? my son is really upset he wanted to be back with his friends from last year and he really loves the game

WE STARTED OUT AT 4 TIMES A WEEK FOR 3 HRS UNTIL SCHOOL STARTED THEN IT WAS 3 X WEEK FOR 3 HRS DEPENDS ON THE COACH, DONT WORRY WHEN THEY GET TO HIT FOR THE FIRST TIME ITS FUN AND THE TIME FLYS BY

Tryouts for the PNG league are supposed to be next week on Monday, July 7, Tuesday, July 8 and Thursday, July 10.  The draft is supposed to be on Thursday after tryouts.  We are supposed to be receiving phone calls but we haven't yet. ???

Any new info on this? do i have my son out there tommarow and at what time and where?????????????

WOS will be good no doubt, but i dont think they take it all this year, my sons pee wee team moved up to Jr this year, and want their trophy back

A few weeks ago there were some folks talking about how if some schools wanted to keep their coaches etc they needed to not make them have to get more certifications/teaching fields and have them focus more on coaching.  The reality is sports are secondary to a school's purpose.  This school could have won state in every major sport this year, but in the end it is the academics that are most important.

How often do we forget this on this "sports" forum...

I don't know of any particulars from this school, but you have to assume the principal and the teachers did all they could to improve the students.

In the end, you get what you pa

not only that but you can pay em good but if you dont get the support you need from the "higher ups" with student problems or kids that wanna learn period etc... or if you fail too many students you get punished!!!  all the pay in the world does not matter. my sister a veteran educator (she is close to retirment age) is going to another school this year hoping that its going to get better, she did all that she could came in early left late offered to tutor, taught summer school etc... and the school still punished her by takind away a higher course and making her teach TAKS remidiation

As a teacher with 18 years of experience it is sad that districts continue to raise the starting salaries of teachers, but still don't have the finances to pay veteran teachers what they are worth.

Over the last three years several close friends of mine (quality veteran teachers) have left the profession for higher paying occupations.

The starting salaries can attract good teachers, but the schools need the finances to keep paying the teachers what they are worth.  With the current tax structure this just isn't possible.  You can also say this for all public servants, not just teachers.

We should all be thankful that almost all schools in the Beaumont area are at least acceptable and are doing what they are supposed to, educating the kids.

You wanna see a big turnover in teachers go see WOS theres alot of teachers going to other schools and just plain retiring, almost the whole math department.

I talked to Tatum a couple of weeks ago and hes looking forward to going to Dodges camp this summerso hopefully that will help him some plus if we can get some reciever developed, id love to see a certain alumni QB come and help out

Let them have fun, play all they want im trying to do that but with 3 kids its kinda hard my oldest plays BB and FB but wants to play soccer and basketball (even tho hes really short) my younget son plays only soccer ive tried baseball fo 3 years now and it hasnt took, my daughter plays softball and cheerleads for my sons football team, i cant afford anymore!!!!!!! ;D

buddy, if you play linebacker, i feel VERY bad for you when beard starts running down hill. you will get TRUCKED. just ask your boy DOTY from pn-g about that lastyear. anthony made him get on his knees on the sideline while the trainers were holding up his head so he could catch his breath!  ;D thats a true story too.

kinda reminds of yalls boy last year that got TRUCKED last year on the goal line by Hemmings, they had to carry him off the field.
