Both sides were packed. I left with three minutes left. The PNG side was packed until Nederland scored on the interception. Then it emptied real quick.I have no dog in this fight, But there are times that fans from all schools leave early like this during a loss.

Was at the game last night. Both bands did great.Nederland looked good at times. PNG had way to many mistakes all night .

Vidor fans, plenty of places to eat within a mile from the school. I think that you will love the stadium as well.
The stadium home side is all chairback seating and the visitor side seats around 5500. The pressbox is part of the school.

Longview beat Allen Friday night 28-25. Allen was the 5-A state champ in division 1 last year.They are ranked 2nd in the state this year. Longview is ranked 1st in the state in 4-A this season.Does this mean that the top 5 in 4-A are just as good as the top 5 in 5-A.Let's get some opinions on this topic.

Being a 1982 Longview graduate and after watching numerous Longview games,I agree that PNG has one of the best fan base in the state. I moved to Mid County 4 years ago and have only attended a couple games. Longview has a great fan base as well, but there are 3 high schools there.Longview would average around 7500 longview fans at home games and around 4500 on away games except for the playoffs.I know for sure PNG average is better.I am new to this area, but will defend it.Good Luck this season to all.

I am taking Sulphur Springs in this game.The came from the toughest district top to bottom in the state.They finished third in there district behind Longview and Texas High.Longview plays for the title Saturday as well.

Against Longview.

Longview had 458 yards rushing last night and around 100 passing.Could have scored 2 more TD's.They elected to knell down on the 1 yard line.

The district went 3-1 tonight.This district is loaded.Only Marshall lost by a 35-31 score.

Leaving the bench to join in will get you in trouble.This is easy to say since we wasn't on either side line.This would be a very hard decision to make in the heat of the battle during the game.Good luck to all.

I think the players who started this fight would be punished.Punishing the entire team will be wrong if the entire team isn't at fault.Watch the video and make individual decisions from there.PNG players involved would be punished as well depending on there grade level.If you are a under classman you would be punished next season.If you are a senior the punishment would have to be handled differently.The Central players would get punished this season since they are in the playoffs.This doesn't sound fair to Central, but this is the way it may be handled.PNG players and Central players should be punished if they are at fault.Good luck to Central in the post season.

Could we have a Longview Vs Lumberton match up in the playoffs.Will Lumberton go division 1 or 2.I just wont to see my old school play anyone in this area so I can go see them play.

I think 13-4a is the best district in the state top to bottom in 4-a.There is 3 top 10 teams in this district.

Two top 10 teams going head to head. Longview 21-7 at the half. This is the forth game in a row for Longview to play a ranked team this season already.They have held up so far.Good look Lobos.

Great game by the Lobos.They had 400 yards of offense in the 1st half.

Longview and West Brook would be a great game to see.

I will be pulling for Lufkin in this one. Longview wore down Lufkin, but Lufkin will

be ready for this one.

I am thinking 31 to 7. Longview is really strong on defense.
