Too many players holding the ball too far away from there body. I think the JV could of ran this schedules and been undeafted, but I must say that we ready for this 21-5A district. We could be playing better but I 'll take what we have going forward.
The JV A Team is also undefeated.
Which JV team lost to WO-S JV???
If my memory sevres me correctly, I believe that was 1 of the 9th grade squads. Now I do "know" it wasn't the jv A team. It possibly could have been the jv B team as well.

 8. In Port Arthur,  the Titans take an extra week off against SoHo and move to 5-0!
 9. It really chaps my hide when ppl leave the game early. Especially if were losing. HECK SIT YA BEHIND DOWN AND YELL LOUDER. They would rather leave and then talk about how the team is COACHED, or the system used...BURNS ME UP
 10.

Stump really had some beautiful punts also.  One thing Ike did very well IMO that brought the game into OT--was clock management.  Their last two scores took very few seconds off the clock.  On the other hand, when Da Brook has the lead like they did, they needed to use the clock to their advantage, and I did not see that at all.  You have to keep the offense on the field and wear those big boys down ---To improve the running game , the o-line needs to stay with their blocks better.  It is a technique that I strongly recomend they improve on.  ;)
OMG--I am beginning to sound like 2010's 825A----LMAO
Hahaha.... >:( I have really tried to be more positive about our team this season. With that said, I dont appreciate parents/fans tracking me down and getting in my face at a game because they dont like what has been posted on this forum. Uhh, it's a public message board people! Everybody that posts on here has an opinion, and we are free to express our opinion. Thats what living in this great country is all about. So, if your child is a player on a high profile team that has had alot of success in the past, expect a little criticism! If you dont like what I, or anybody else says, with regards to your child/player on the field....DONT READ IT! Its that simple! Have a nice day! :)
82 wow, I think this is the one and ONLY time I TOTALLY agree with you.
 11. In high school football, there are good teams and great teams. The Port Arthur Memorial Titans are even better than the latter... they’re a really great team. Even in an East Texas region known for producing Div. I caliber college football prospects, the Titans are favorites to win the District 21-5A crown and play well into November. They’re a dominating force, especially for a team like Alice which has struggled so far. “They were good last year, and this year they look even better,” Alice coach Chris Soza said. “They’re fast and very athletic. They’re predicted to have a better season than last year, and judging by their scores so far, they seem better.” * Memorial is 2-0 after beating Beaumont Central, 42-14, and Ozen, 45-8. With quarterback Terrence Singleton in the backfield, the Titans proved just how explosive they can be in the win against Ozen. Singleton, a Baylor commit was efficient and effective, completing 14 of 15 passes for 276 yards and three touchdowns. Singleton spread the ball around too. Jhajuan Seales had four catches for 93 yards. Aerian Jackson had three for 83. John Leday has three catches for 70 yards. This was a week after passing for 261 yards against Central in the season opener. Running back Nate Holmes, an Arkansas commit, had 10 carries for 76 yards. He had two rushing touchdowns, one of which was for 45 yards. The Titans score on three of its first eight plays. Singleton emerged as the Titans’ starting quarterback against Alice in 2010. He proved to be unstoppable for the Coyotes and he helped Memorial to a 48-19 win. Singleton then proceeded to carry Memorial to the Class 5A regional semifinals. The Titans finished the season, 9-4. Soza said as talented as the Titans are, they offer his Coyotes yet another opportunity to improve before the Sept. 23 opener in Corpus Christi against Moody. “It’ll certainly be a good opportunity to play against a really, really good football team,” Soza said. Memorial is the latest in a string of top-notch opponents in Alice’s non-district schedule, which has also included Laredo Alexander and Weslaco. All three teams were 5A playoff teams a year ago. Alice lost to Alexander, 62-20, in Zero Week. They fell to Weslaco Friday night, 28-14. “I think Port Arthur Memorial is the better of the three,” Soza said. “Alexander had some good skill-position kids. Weslaco had a lot of size. Port Arthur is just very athletic and talented. If we can just come out of the game healthy, and if we’re able to maintain some confidence and not lose focus, we should be okay going into the start of district.” As daunting a task as the Titans may be, Alice can’t afford to focus too much on its opposition. It already has its hands full trying to turn things around, especially offense they have committed nine turnovers in two games. Against Weslaco, the Coyotes lost two fumbles and two interceptions. One of the interceptions led to a 40-yard touchdown return by Ernesto Tafolla. “Those turnovers really hurt us,” Soza said. “Not only are we killing drives, but we’re giving the other team easy points.” Alice has given up interceptions for touchdowns in each of its two losses. Alice totaled 237 yards against Weslaco. Its usually prolific running back accounted for a mere 121 yards. Lucas Almaraz led the Coyotes in rushing with only one carry, which went for a 47-yard touchdown. Quarterback Andre Saenz completed seven of 18 for 94 yards and two interceptions. Oscar Resendez, who played mostly late in the fourth quarter, was one of two for 22 yards. The game against Port Arthur is at 5 p.m. Saturday.
 12. Jags show their "cat like reflexes" as they bounce back and tear through Ball with a "Tornado" like  WIN!!!

 14.
I'm just curious how this guy knows so much about Memorial when he is a Katy fan? How does he watch both teams to know their caliber of players?
That clown isn't a Katy fan.  That guy is a poor lonely soul from the Golden Triangle, thats upset bout something and is taking his frustration out on OUR KIDS AND COACHES
 15.
I hear those Titan fans chirping about beating Ozen and Central and talking about finally giving WB a whipping that they have been promising for years. It seems you Port Arthur fans are more interested in being Gold Triangle Champs than Region III Champs and playing for somthing that means something. You not fooling anybody. You are just barking. All bark no bite. Why dont you ride along with West Brook to Katy next week and after we get finish with them you come get some. Believe you dont want no part of that big boy football. We will take it easy on you we will let you know the play and the snap count and you still wont stop it. Bring all that speed and you will look like you are stuck in mud. Katy is willing to welcome you into the big boy club. Come and see us Pamela or just maybe we will come see you in the playoffs. If we do see you in the playoffs be sure to be ready turn that equipment that same night because you will be done for 2011-2012 season.
Fans of Setx hs football (P.A.M .), Please don't even waste your precious time with  J.T. (The Drama Queen) Williams and whatever HeShe has to say about our beloved "Men In Black". If memory serves me correctly I don't believe ANY of us have been bragging, boasting, yelling about beating Central or Ozen. Now since this the same clown that started  the thread "Disappointed with high school football in BISD" that had NOTHING to do with football.  I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this person is merely hostile that their kid didn't make the Titan Roster OR any of the three rosters in Beaumont. Frankly speaking, we don't care where you're from...BRING IT.
 16. The Alice Mayor calls President Obama and asks him to send the U.S.  Marines for support against the invading Titans and their "Massive Air Attack"
