Bored with it yet? Franklin is a huge football town and always has been. The kids run the same system from little league up. They look up to the high school kids as celebrities and the high school kids help volunteer in all youth sports. I don't think we have to worry about them getting bored with it. If that is the case how come places like Mart and Carthage haven't got bored with it yet.

Don't agree with this simply because we started slow last year as well. These early non district games are for fixing mistakes and everyone has only played 3 games at the most. Franklin brought back 5/5 last season and 6/6 this season so they weren't to young last season with less experience as you claim. All I'm going to say is I wouldn't wanna play us week 5.

What makes you think they are not what they were based off week 1-3....

And it's work 35 straight times... all I used to hear about was how Franklin would never win state just running the ball. 3 straight trips to Dallas 4 in the last 8 years with 2 state titles and only 8 yes 8 passing yards in the last 2 championship games. If it's not broke don't fix it. We may lose this game to a team a class up who imo should still be in the top 10. But its only gonna make us better in the long run. These seniors have played some really good ball clubs over the years from Canadian, Gunter, Lorena, Brock, Columbus ect. They will not back down from a challenge or lay down for anyone. I expect this to be another great game at Hedrick field.

Didn't Franklin score a passing td against Woodville. I believe they had over 100 yards passing against Woodville.

As of right now between a 40% and 60% chance of rain friday.

Last home loss 9/11/2020 with half the team out with covid. Both teams are full of studs. I believe it will be a good game and low scoring. I will always take my lions and coaching staff in big games.

This will be a big game and I expect to see the stands packed

They very well could. It's hard to win in Franklin. Last loss in Franklin was in 2020 with half the team out with covid.

Franklin had 6 total fumbles and 4 lost fumbles. So yes the scores was close between Franklin and Woodville. Can't really read in to first game of the the season. Franklin had 0 turnovers the next game while Woodville seemed to turn it over to Newton. Woodville played pretty much a perfect game against Franklin and still lost while having around 3 turnovers against Newton. If Woodville played Newton as well as they did against Franklin then they would have beat Newton imo. Had Franklin not turned it over 4 times it could have very well been a 21 point game. Franklin had almost 600 yards of offense with pretty much a new O-line playing their first varsity game. But what if's don't matter and these games are in the past. I don't think people realize how bad Franklin played week 1 and still won. It was the worst game they have played in the past 4 years hands down. I'm not saying Woodville is a bad team because they aren't but I have always heard you see what a team is made of from week 1 to week 2 in improvement. Good Luck to the SETX teams down the road. Look forward to Diboll and Jasper the next 2 weeks. I guess we will see how much we have improved here soon. Diboll always plays against Franklin well. And Jasper seems to be a power house.
